To all of you good people out there,I ask you to say a prayer for me. Today I was diagnosed with throat cancer.
But please - no sympathy, after all it can happen to any of us at any time. I trust in the Lord, and with the help of your prayers I will survive.

Dear Liliwings,
Thank you, and everyone else, for the candles.
I have started getting radio therapy, so hopefully this will improve things. Unfortunately I also have emphysema which makes traveling to the hospital a little bit difficult for me. However I trust in the One who knows best whatever is to be for myself and my wife, without whom life would really be a struggle for me, indeed any prayers and candles should  be for her, she has so much to cope with.
