I have wondered for a long time how I found the Gratefulness Website, and I have just found out! This morning I received, after a long break, an email newsletter from the man who puts your 'Word for the Day' on his website too with a link attached. So.....this is one man who inspires me. He is a man coming from his heart and a tireless worker for Peace. You may already know him. Robert Muller, Peace Laureate and former Assistant Secretary General to the United Nations. http://robertmuller.org/ Decide to be peaceful Render others peaceful Be a model of peace Irradiate your peace Love passioinately the peace of our beautiful planet

Dear Jude . . . Thank you so much for sharing this . . . I didn't know who Robert Muller was, but I have heard of his book. He is indeed an inspiring person! Your post was serendipitous as I have been thinking and wondering . . . how people find there way here . . . I found the gratefulness site by visiting Dan Fogelberg's web site last year when I heard on the news he died of prostate cancer. There was a link to this site for those who wanted to light a candle for him . . . How have others come? However we have all straggled in the door I am grateful with love . . . sparrow ♥

Dear Jude, Creating this thread is an excellent idea! I can think of quite a few people I find inspiring. But my answer to the question how I found my way here first. Well, as I have once posted, I do not watch TV, but listen to the radio a lot. We have a very good cultural program, and there is a spiritual thread (?) every Saturday night. I had one program on Brother David recorded, and there was a link to "Gratefulness". It took me some time, though, to join the Forum - I simply didn´t know how to set about it. It was my son´s birthday and I felt I had to share my gratefulness. And Betty came to my aid, giving me instructions. Thank you, dear Betty!
