Death & Rebirth

Death & Rebirth Beautiful time to reflect, to realize our potential optimally... Just applied for an online scholarship to complete a doctorate: I'm a lover of knowledge, Truth, eternal verities, & more than anything believe in realizing my potential optimally, &, in the process, facilitating others in actualizing themselves as well. Am a retired educator and a licensed counselor for over 25-yrs., in fact, having circa 5-licenses/cetificates, state & Nat’l, & currently completing another; however, the ultimate for me would be completing a doctorate in counseling psych, my forte; &, being able to continue in private practice &/or college teaching. I would also deeply enjoy working w/ experienced profs/academicians and writing a dissertation in research I've been assiduously honing to eventually possibly publishing on modern psych... an integrated & unified dynamic perspective w/ the behavioral/cognitive approach towards a more nondual one - i.e., an integral approach & methodology, a psycho-spiritual one, onto-psychosomatic - (body-mind-spirit) entity or continuum. My wife of 28-yrs is a H/W and we have 2-dghtrs, the older, 25, is happily working & deeply enjoys her career in the beauty field along w/ modeling aspirations. The younger, 20, is on her way to completing a business degree she’s pursuing. Currently, post-retiring in education in '06 I’ve been counseling F/T, working w/ alcohol & drugs, mainly doing clinical-type counseling w/ clients having co-occurring disorders such as mood/conduct complications which need to be IDd & treated synchronistically in order to avoid further relapses... In the '70s completed my AA/BA/MA/MEd in CA & NV – majored in Humanistic Psych & Eng, UCSC, & later finished in San Francisco counseling/psychotherapy, MA, w/ a transpersonal perspective, CIIS; &, finally, an M.Ed. in educ., Teacher Corps, UNLV, working w/ migrants. Education experience were mainly bilingual, reading, & guidance w/ disordered kids at an alternative educ. ctr. Thank you!
