Thank you ladies for your kind words candles and prayers for both Yvonne and Little James.. James had a horrid 'turn' this week due to my 'lack of knowledge (about his illness) & stupidity 'but thank heavens he was ok after a long sleep. I now have a deeper understanding why Little James can never lead a 'normal' life.He really is an amazing child who we are blessed to have in our lives. All I can do is be there for them and embrace Little Jame's enormous smiles as they warm up even the darkest days. ~

Dear Sandra, We can't know everything, and learn by our mistakes, this has nothing to do with stupidity! It is always easy to look backwards and see what one might have done differently. I am glad little James is OK. His "normal" may be different from that of others, which is true of quite a few people suffering from a variety of conditions. I am keeping you all in my prayers, Much love, Edda

We can't know everything, and learn by our mistakes, this has nothing to do with stupidity! It is always easy to look backwards and see what one might have done differently Ok I am not stupid ...yes it's a learning curb it has to be.I guess I am wiser now as well as older Yesterday Lilttle James had his bloods taken and ears syringed . For the first time in a long time he did not cry but his bottom lip was very shaky bless him. I would like to share this with you as it made me smile lots.. It was a long afternoon for James and his Mummy. They left school at lunch time and did not arrive home until after 7pm.On the way home Little James was yawing lots. His Mummy said ''Darling you must be so tired.James replied''No you see Mummy these are morning yawns not night yawns''.He is such a bright little fellow bless him Thank you all for your wishes and candles for James and his Mummy.. ~

''No you see Mummy these are morning yawns not night yawns'' Thank you for the smile, Aunt Sandra! Yes, children who have health problems become wise beyond their years early on in their lives. He will always benefit from it. I have experienced this ever so often. Blessings to all of you! Juliana

Hello Ladies thank you so much for your prayers ,candles kind words and photos.I am delighted to say James is home now .He had two seizure's that lasted over 40 mins .He was rushed into hospital with his Mummy by his side.I arrived after an hour or so and at this stage he was up on his feet again .He had to stay for a few hours for observation and he passed all the tests so he got the green light to go home.Sadly for little James this is all part of his life for now.He could not remember fitting so for this we are so grateful. His Mummy is now living on her nerves again .It must be so hard for her to see her precious little one fitting . On the way home this evening from the hospital we picked up James's spiderman bike as it was the last day for collection.James's little face lit up as he spotted it.It's now in my spare bedroom waiting for Santa to deliver it on Christmas day! I must share this with you as it made me smile.Betty put a photo of a orange slide in the pervious post. Well when the medics went to Yvonne's this morning they left the front door open rushing in.Isabella and Tinkerbelle escaped.Yvonne could not search for them as she was tending to James. This evening when we arrived home no cats were to be seen.We were very worried because they are not use to being out doors.I drove around but could not find them. After half an hour Tinkerbelle came home but no Isabella.Yvonne took James up for a bath and she heard a faint meow. She searched the house but she could not find Isabella. She then went into the garden to find Isabella on top of her garden wall crying in fear as she could not jump down.I dragged Jame's's orange slide over and rescued her.So when I spotted a orange slide here just I just knew it was here for a special reason.. Thank you ladies for everything ,love and gratitude Little James ,his Mummy and his Aunty xxxxxx ~

Dear Sandra, I am sorry I missed your earlier post about little James having a recurrence of his seizures. I am glad he is OK now. I can well imagine that Yvonne is on edge worrying about further seizures. You are right, it is good that James can't remember the seizure. I had to smile about the two little escape artists. Cats have a way of getting up onto things and then not knowing how to come back down. Here, people on occasion have to call the fire department to retrieve a cat from high up on a tree! A candle has been burning for James, Yvonne and you! With prayers and love, Edda

What a day you all have had . . . I am so relieved to hear that little James is better, and finally resting at home, Yvonne and Auntie Sandra calmer after all the nerves, and that Isabella II and Tinkerbelle have been returned to home and hearth. A peaceful evening for all. I'm sure you (including Is. and Tink) will sleep well tonight . . . with love . . . flsp ♥

Thank you Ladies you both made me smile talking about naughty puddy cats . I called Yvonne and she was so happy to hear Little James asking her to play with him at 5am this morning!. It's very hard sometimes and I do wonder why Little James has to endure seizure's as well as LCH.I know myself we are lucky to have him but at the same time it's heartbreaking seeing him suffer so much.Little James told his Mummy yesterday he does not want fits anymore because he wants to be 'normal' like his friends.Yvonne tries so hard to say the right things to him but to hear these words must be heartbreaking for a Mummy. I really hope in time his seizure's stop for James and my sister as it's such a burden on her heart.... Thank you again ladies for your prayers and support... ~

Hello Gratefulness James had his monthly bloods taken last week .Today the hospital told Yvonne he now has developed insipidus diabetes. He has to start taking the tablets that were diagnosed wrongly a few months back. The side effects of the drugs is epilepsy.Because James already has epilepsy the chances are he will now have more seizures in the future. It's so hard for Yvonne to cope with . I am very cross because the hospital did not call to tell Yvonne the results they sent a letter with an awful lot of numbers that meant nothing at all to her or me.She called them and only then was it clear he needs to start new medication asap. After the last mistake I find this disgraceful.I have told her to go to the doctors tomorrow and ask him to explain it to her in more detail if he is able. God knows why James has to live with epilepsy ,as well as an illness that could come back anytime and claim his life.Life for children should not ever be this way not ever.I wish to God I could take his illness for him. Can I ask you to pray for Little James and Yvonne .Yvonne was living on her nerves and now this has left her very fragile and in endless fear that I can't take from her.

Dearest Sandra, I empathize with your sad feelings for Little James and Yvonne, and I´m going to light a candle for all of you, keeping you in my prayer. I trust that the worst that we imagine and fear the most usually does not happen. As you have repeatedly told us, James copes with his situation very well. I entrust him to his Guardian Angel. Dear Sandra, I am so sorry that little James has now developed diabetes insipidus. I can understand that this is upsetting news to all of you. It is important that Yvonne talks to the doctors about the condition and the medication. Side effects don't have to occur if the medication is adjusted. She might also ask if tablets are the only treatment option for him. I keep you all in my prayers and a candle lit, Much love, Edda

Dear Ladies thank you so much for your prayers and kind and gentle words .I think Juliana trust is needed so much by Yvonne and I.It's just so hard seeing and knowing children do suffer in this world from time to time. Edda Thank you so much for your advice I have just called Yvonne and told her what you said. For James tablets are the only option but maybe if they can lower the dose than what he was on before his fitting may become less .It's just really sad to know that the tablets did cause more fits last time and plus the fact he already has epilepsy and the side effects are epilepsy. It just all seems so cruel ... Yvonne gains so much comfort knowing you all are praying for her and little James as I do as well. Love and gratitude to all of you ...

On a happier note.... Yesterday when Yvonne picked Little James up from school the teacher asked her if she could have a word.Yvonne thought the worst until she heard these words from the teacher.. James put his hand up in class to ask if he could go the the toilet.I said yes off you go.He then raised his hand again and said ''Please Miss can Daniel come with me?''.'I asked him Why did he want Daniel to go with you him and he replied ''because I want to show him my new doggie underpants and the doggie bones as well'. The teacher said she laughed so much because he is such a special little boy is so many lovely ways. I laughed because he had shown me them a few days ago in the shopping mall .Children really have a way of making us all smile bless them all..

Poor little James had an accident tonight. He was with his Mummy in the spare bedroom as she was ironing his uniform for tomorrow.Bless him he opened the wardrobe to see if there was any Christmas presents in there and the wardrobe somehow fell on him.Yvonne called me all in a panic but sadly I could not drive over. She called an ambulance as he had a cut to his face.He then had a seizure that lasted for 6 mins.He is now in hospital and needs glue stitiches to his face and he is going to be x-rayed.Yvonne feels guilty but I told here these things happen. Can I ask you once again to pray for little James and his Mummy please and or light a candle in his group jy.
