Dear Sandra,

If James already has this toy set, maybe he´ll also ask the doctor if he may take his blood like that other boy did... That might make it easier for him to have his taken.

As for colors: when I go to "A" on the right-hand side and click on the little dart, all the colors appear, and it says "Add Hex Color". I don´t know what this means. I just like using blue for you. But when it takes me a little longer the color will suddenly change, and that´s what keeps annoying me... I strive for serenity, though...

Love,
Juliana

Dear Liliwings,

How diffiult it must be on James, his mummy. Most of all, I pray for a cure. For a miralce.

Yes it is very difficult and we also pray for a cure for Little James.

He is living proof miracles do happen and we will be forever grateful that

we were given this beauitful little miracle to love and cherish.

Juliana bless you little James does try to take the doctor's blood

he also tries to take their temp, heart rate,x ray and he would go as far

as urine sample too if he though they would be willing

as for the hex Juliana if you just highlight what you wish to colour

then click on the colour picture box you want  (above the hex and Add custom colour )

you shall indeed get blue words and many other colours too.

Gosh how bright am I teaching a teacher

I have not heard about little James yet but I wil call them on the way

to work.Thank you for your endless kindness.

Love Me the not so dippy one afterall xxx

Sandra, you have given me the laugh of the day! Your sense of humor is overwhelmimg! Of course I am so happy the news is good.

As for colors, I am going to try what you say, and we shall se what comes of it.....................
I´ve done it and I´m amazed! It worked! As for teaching a teacher, here is something for you to learn, my Little One: Teachers mostly learn more from their students than the other way round! (If the teachers are willing to, that is... )

Bless Little James and you!

Re:Please Pray for little James... - 7/8/2009 2:42 PM ( #152 )
Well ladies I have news..

James is going home as I speak this is
briliiant news it really is but I am a bit
sad too.

James as you know has a condition
called Langerhans and this illness can bring
many other problems/illness's with it.James was
diagnosed with  insipidus diabetes over a year
ago so he had to take extra medictaion for
this condition.

He suffers from epilepsy too but up until last
year his tablets were keeping it under control
to a certain degree.

James has been in and out of hospital  more
so than 'normal ' over the last 16 months with
fits ,low sodum level etc.

Tonight three dcotors came and sat on James's
hospital bed and said to my sister..

We have misdiagnosed one of James's illness's
he does not have insipidus diabetes ,however
because of his condition he will no doubt get this
in the future.

The doctor's told her that his sodium
level dropped because of the tablets he was
taking for the diabetes .Then this caused the
extra fits etc.

They could not apologise enough my poor
Sister said she had so much extra worry for
little James and he was in his last fit for 45 mins
and this may never have happened if he was not miss
diagnosed.

Yvonne also asked them how could they
possibly not pick it up in the endless blood
test little James has had for the last 16months.

They said they were not sure but they were
terribly sorry to both her and Little James.

I was heart broken for her and James because
any one of those fits could have been fatal
and the pain they went through no one will
ever know.

Bless my Sister she said to be honest I am
just so grateful he is alive .She then reminded
me of the Angel experience they other night.
Then she said James really is being cared for
he really is.

So now he will take less tablets and please
God he will now have less fits as well .

Sorry now ,yes I am so grateful they are going
home but a big part of me is sad because I
heard my nephew and my Sister suffer
because of these terrible mistakes.

Doctors are human Like us all and mistakes do
happen but for so many of them not to pick it up is
really beyond me.

Thank you for praying and holding James,Yvonne
and me in light and love..

Lots of love ,Sandraxxxxxxx

Dear Sandra,
it is good that they are going home !
And it is good that doctors spotted that have been in mistake!
It is bad that they made mistakes but they are humans too...
I have my own expiriance with my son and doctors, some good, some bad...
Anyway I am glad James is feeling better and medications are right now.
Sorry for my poor English, memories disturb me while I read your post...
I know you will understand me...
with love to you and James

Buba, I am not quite so generous as you.  Yes, they are human and make mistakes
the majority of them are so arrogant it is unbelievable, and whatever you do,
don't even begin to question them.  THEY are DOCTORS and you are just an ordinary
person.  I am so very grateful for the internet.  I have an extremely close relative who
consistantly was told by the good Doctors he was a hypocondriac.  I refused to believe
it, went on the internet for several days and checked the symptoms.  My goodness,
could you believe it--he actually had a brain tumor!!!!  I do not mean to offend anyone
but the sooner doctors take off the robes of God,  admit their own falibility and start
listening to patients, the better off the populace is going to be. (Oh yes, and all these
Doctors where highly aclaimed in their fields).   They bury their mistakes and then
go off and play golf or whatever.
Yesterday is gone forever.Tomorrow may not come. Live Fully each moment today. Look for Good Things that Happen to you Every Day.

Dear Sandra,

Thank you for this latest update! I am so glad that James can go home!

I am so sorry for his misdiagnosis, but diabetes insipidus (a lack of a water-household regulating hormone in the body) is known to be associated with his condition.
I don't want to make excuses for the physicians, but making the right diagnosis is not always as easy as one might think. I do compliment the physicians on their honesty; some might be tempted to cover up the mistake. I am grateful on James' behalf that it was discovered!
As your sister says, the main thing is that James is alive!

I am keeping you, James and your sister in my prayers,
Much love,
Edda
Peace and joy!

Dear Betty,
It seems doctors are the same everywhere!
I know similar cases here, like your relative!

Dear Edda, you are right, too. It is dificult to judge.
But as you said The main thing is that James is alive!

Edda, I do so agree. I have been in the hands of both bad and good doctors, and on the whole I believe they are good. Certainly they are starting to become more accountable and I think it may be partly because we as patients do know more now and are willing to learn more too.
No, Betty, doctors aren't gods, and the more we educate ourselves and take responsibility for our own health the less god-like they will be able to be. I have a very bad memory of such a 'god' from the '60s. He was disgusting.

Sandra, I'm so sorry that James was misdiagnosed. It does seem awful that so many physicians were looking after him and didn't pick it up.

I will light a candle now for him and his mummy

With Love,
Jude

Oh Dear Buba ..

I have my own expiriance with my son and doctors, some good, some bad... Anyway I am glad James is feeling better and medications are right now. Sorry for my poor English, memories disturb me while I read your post... I know you will understand me...

I did think of you as I was about to post this.
Of course we all understand Buba and I'm
sorry you too are hurting right now.

Love to you Buba and hugs too.

Dearest Betty

I have an extremely close relative who consistantly was told by the good Doctors he was a hypocondriac. I refused to believe it, went on the internet for several days and checked the symptoms. My goodness, could you believe it--he actually had a brain tumor!!!!

Just as well you had the good sense to
question this and then to look up the
symptoms.

Sadly James's consulatant is suppose to be
the best in the Uk.

So where do you go from here

I don't want to ask Jesus  to forgive
these Doctors when it was me who heard my
sisters sobs on the phone at 2am Tuesady
Morning saying James is going to Louis!

One day I really hope they wake up and see
what harm they have caused ,yes
we all make mistakes and I have made many
but for three doctors and millions of blood tests
not to show any signs of diabetes insipidus is pure negligence in my eyes.

Dear Edda

I am so sorry for his misdiagnosis, but diabetes insipidus (a lack of a water-household regulating hormone in the body) is known to be associated with his condition.

Yes it is known but without sounding horrid my
sister knew this and when James had some of
the symptoms he went into hospital for nearly
one week so they could run ex amount of tests.
Yvonne was told that three tests they
did  confirmed he had this condition. She
had ex amount of doctors telling her what to expect
and James was then given ex amount of pills a day
on top of his daily amount. He then went for
blood tests every month for 16 months.

Whilst I respect the doctors who have helped
James and continue to help both him amd my
Sister,I cannot except this was not dam right
disgraceful in many ways.

We are now seeing a heart broken Mother
and child with millions of pin pricks endless fits
due to doctors failing by making so many mistakes.

I ask myself if I went on to have another child
would I put my faith in these doctors.
No I would not and how many of you would?.

Sorry now but I heard my nephew crying out
in pain when he was having endless blood tests
and what was this blood taken for if they
were not going to see really see!

Yes we forgive or we are suppose to but right now I am heart broken to think my sister and nephew suffered in the hands of several doctors.

I am 100% sure any one of you would feel like
I do right now.

Whilst I am so grateful he is alive  I am also
so sad to think he suffered and so did my Sister
because of several  doctors mistakes not just one.

ok rant over Sandra xx

Re:Please Pray for little James... - 7/8/2009 6:45 PM ( #159 )
Dearest Sandra,

Of course, you are upset, angry, hurt and have a many other feelings! They are what they are and you are entitled to your feelings! Far be it from me to make light of them in any way at all! The pain and distress you experienced can't be undone.

Unfortunately, even the best of doctors make mistakes and are quite aware of the possibility. I would not trust a doctor who claims to be beyond making mistakes. Good doctors go back and try to figure out how they made the mistake, what misled them or affected their judgment, to avoid making the same mistake again. Human beings are fallible. Blood tests can be misleading. I think there might even be the remote possibility that James had a transient episode of diabetes insipidus to begin with.

Perhaps once your sister and you are over the initial shock and anger, you can sit down with the doctors and ask them to explain to you how the mistaken diagnosis came about.

I'll light another candle for James, his Mummy and you!

Much love,
Edda
Peace and joy!

Re:Please Pray for little James... - 7/9/2009 5:24 AM ( #160 )
Good Morning Edda & All

I did not think for  one minute you were
'making light' of it Edda not at all.

I understand totally what you are saying
and yes there are many good docotors yourself
included not doubt.

Before my sister left the hospital last night
yet another docotor came to visit her and
he said how sorry he  was and that a
'terrible mistake' was made in this case.

I called my Sister before I finally slept last light
she was so concerned that all of these fits may
have damaged James.I tried the best to reassure
her that this was not so,but how can I know in truth.

I listened again to her saying how James's
little arms are black and blue from all of the
tests endured  over the last 5 days(no wonder
yesterday they did so many tests,no wonder).

It then dawned on me that my Sister's heart
is black and blue too from the bruises these
docotor's have caused.I know full well bruises
do heal and they will in time, but God only knows
how these docotors failed so many times with
little James and endless other people too.

The doctor said a full investigation will be held
and I just pray to Gentle Jesus that no other
Child or Parent suffers like this again I really do.

Through all of this the one thing my Sister
kept was her faith,so this and your many prayers
kept both her and James in light.

Thank you Ladies for your canldles, love, prayers
and endless support ...

Sandraxxx
