My Darling Partner - 5/10/2009 7:35 PM ( #1 )
Please, Please pray for my Darling Partner who saved my life 6 years ago when she found me slumped in a chair following a stroke I had had, and now in Hospital for a Major operation later today after being diagnosed some 3 months ago with Stage 4 of the Big C. It is because of this, I haven't visited the forum as much I would have liked.

Thank You All.
Care for others and they will care for you.

Hello Friends & I Mean Friends

Thank you so very much to ALL of you for the Tremendous support to Yvonne and myself at a somewhat critical time.

The latest news is that Yvonne had a successful operation on Monday 11th May and even though the cancer Had moved, the Brilliant Surgeon managed to remove every bit of what he could find. To close the wound as it is called, took some 42 staples in all. While Yvonne called it her zip, I merely said: "Yvonne is on a staple diet at present." These were removed on Friday morning, but during the afternoon, part of it near the belly-button re-opened and despite being asleep, she did the right thing and woke me, so as I could take her to our GP's surgery and was seen literally within 5 minutes of arriving. The nearest hospital, is 14 miles away and if only takes a delay for whatever reason to delay treatment.

I am now waiting on Yvonne 24/7 because to me, she is Genuinely 100% worthy of it. Much to my annoyance, she did bend and put some clothes away for me while I was out this morning, so gave her a Tap on the wrist when I discovered she had did this. I could Not hurt this Lady, no matter what.
Care for others and they will care for you.

Dear Brian,

Thank you for this encouraging update. I am so very happy that the surgery went well. I hope there won't be any  more set-backs and that Yvonne will grow stronger every day. The fact that she is trying to do something is a good sign. Perhaps you need to let her do some light chores that won't put a strain on her wound.

Keeping both of you in my prayers,

With every good wish and love,
Edda
Peace and joy!

Dear Brian . . .
It is so good to hear this news,
and that Yvonne is at home with you now!
As Edda has said,
it might do Yvonne a world of good
to be able to do some very light tasks
that won't stress her staples . . .
it sounds as if she is feeling better,
and perhaps a little restless to return to life's activities
(in small doses).
You are so very blessed to be given more time together
and I keep you in my thoughts and prayers
with much joy and love . . .
