Prayer to St. Jude To be said when problems arise or when one seems to be deprived of all visible help, or for cases almost despaired of.
Most holy apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of. Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone. Make use I implore you, of that particular privilege given to you, to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly - (here make your request) that I may praise God with you and all the elect forever. I promise, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Sorry now I am just wondering  do we get deprived of visable help  or is it that we are just unable to see it?

I think it's when we don't seem to be getting help from anywhere else.......that's the time to ask St Jude for help. He is known for helping when all else fails, or when things seem hopeless. Love, Jude

Here's what I think
yes, often we are not able to see the help we are getting. We are not able to see that our prayers have been heard. And that not all things can be resolved as we expect in the timing we would prefer. Just because this may not be possible considering where we are on our soul's life path.
And St Jude is "the patron saint of hopeless cases". When things seem hopeless, one can pray to St Jude. He sometimes can assist where nothing else can......... if we ask and leave the door open for him......... by believing.
