Little April Rose is already a miracle, in medical terms by the grace of God. The latest update on her Mommy's blog, which was entered by her birth doula, is April Rose will be making her appearance anytime now. Very early in April's gestation of life, she was diagnosed with Trisomy 13 and Lobar HPE. Her parents were told their little baby girl would not live outside of the womb and it was strongly suggested by the OB doctor to terminate the pregnancy~which was truly out of the question for this Mommy and Daddy.  Later, it was suggested an early induction of labor be started, again...out of the question. This couple firmly BELIEVE, God is control and April Rose will enter this world when He so chooses.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome and all the sweet thought's, prayers and candle lighting's for little April Rose. Though I am not related to this family, I would be so truly proud to call April's Momma my daughter and April Rose my Granddaughter. Thank you for thinking this.

**Update**[font="'trebuchet ms'"] It's Saturday, a little after noon. Just wanted to give a quick update. B & D were up quite a lot through the night and their midwife was there to check on things again this morning. B is now at 4cm, but not yet in active labor. She is resting now.

Looks like it won't be long now. Maybe this evening? Oh, Dear Lord in Heaven....with all my heart, I am praying for a true MIRACLE, for complete healing of this tiny, unborn baby girl. BELIEVE!!

Hey y'all, it's Raechel. It's Saturday evening now and, while there is not much to say, I want to keep you all as updated as I can.
[font="'trebuchet ms'"]B is having frequent contractions now and is up and moving around. The midwife is there, probably for the long haul at this point as they expect this is only going to progress. Active labor is only just beginning and B has a lot more work to do before April comes.
[font="'trebuchet ms'"]The glorious news is that our April Rose is handling all of this BEAUTIFULLY and her little heart is doing fine. Everything looks great on that end. She is a champion and this news is such a source of joy for her Mama and Daddy right now.
[font="'trebuchet ms'"]Even still, B is very tired. They both are. This process, as many of you know, is so physically exhausting. Add to that the nerves and fear of what they do not know, and you can just imagine what these hours are like for them right now.
[font="'trebuchet ms'"]Here is what D told me just a few minutes ago:
[font="'trebuchet ms'"]"An update would be good but not sure what else you or we could say. She is really trusting God but is very sad. We have prayed and talked a lot. She is listening to the song 'Unfailing Love' on repeat. She is a great mom already."

[font="'trebuchet ms'"]We are praying that things continue to go well with April and that B can handle labor well. Please be in prayer for this little family through the night as God lays it on your heart. I will do my best to post updates as they come.

SUNDAY MORNING UPDATE!!

Hi everyone! My name is Kelli and I'm here with B and D. Yes I'm here! I'm in the other room :) but can tell you what's all going on.

It was a long night for them. I got here at 5 this morning and could see how tired everyone was. Things were progressing slowly and there were concerns with that until about an hr ago. Things now look better.

There has been a lot of talk with the midwife and a midwife assistant that is now here about concerns and decisions about if April is born alive. It looks like this will happen and they are determining what they will do in different scenarios. For example if they will check her here or take her to the hospital and how long they will wait.

B is now 8 cm and this has been the hardest time for her so far physically and mentally. I am sure she would continue to appreciate your prayers. Me, Raechel or someone will continue with updates as much as we're able.

Dear Friends~

It saddens me beyond words to inform you, the Little April Rose blog was a scam. The baby is not real, the parents are not real and Kelli (who posted updates on their blog, my name is Cindy) is either not real, or in on the whole thing. All of us in the blog world who invested countless months, hours and some sent gifts of items and money...are all truly broken today. The one thing we are thankful for though, this situation brought many people together, who may have not met, if not for the April Rose blog. We've learned to pray for one another in times of need, or even just because. I want to thank each of you for your prayers, thoughts and being with me through this journey.

I will be back...as a child advocate, there's endless little ones in need of prayer and candles. I may just begin a thread for all the little children I have 'met' and continue to 'meet.'

God belss each and everyone of you!

I am very sorry that such evil evil 'people' can do such a thing.
 
My own precious child had an illness just like this little one was suppose to have.
 
It really hurt me to think another family had to suffer what I  and others went through.
 
I did wonder why the child was born at home when they knew just how sick she was.
 
Things did not add up but like you I felt compassion and heartache for this family.
 
God help those sick individuals I just pray in my heart and soul they never feel the
 
pain I felt when I was told my precious child had hours to live.
 
You are a kind and gentle soul and my heart goes out to you and all of those people
 
who are effected by this.
 
 
 
Jesus give me strength and understanding  to see why things like this happen.

My heart is so broken. I can't believe that someone could make up something like this. The pain that we all feel who have lost a baby/child is so hard to cope with and deal with. I just can't imagine making something like this up to get attention. Although, it did bring lots of people together for prayer and etc. It just saddens me that people do this for attention when they could get attention in other ways. Maybe we ought to pray and keep in out thought the people who make thes stories up. You  and I all know that there are so many people going through this for real and the pain that they are feeling, I can't even begin to imagine. Sandra,. my heart goes out to you and so many others who have had to deal with the heartache and grief like this. I know what it feels to lose 3 babies to miscarriage but having your baby and then being told that your baby is not compatible to like has to be like a dagger in your heart. I will still light a candle for te ones who are really going through their babies nopt being compatable to life "for real". Love ALways, Joya

I am glad that your wonderful heart is not going to be deterred by this.  I used to help abused people online and by phone.  I spent countless hours trying to help a 13 girl.  Surely more than a hundred.  I was also making countless calls trying to find her in the system in her home town in NJ.  Trying to find the correct people to help this child.  To no avail.   Finally, I had no choice, I could not wait any longer, I called the police.  They went to rescue her and found someone who was 19 years old........ it was the girl.  safe. not being abused.   She spent countless hours every day and  night lying to me.  Keeping me hooked in.  On the phone and online.   I felt profoundly violated when the police found what they did .   And I did forever lose some innocence and trust regarding helping people that went to that website.  Of course I still help people. 
 
I like your attitude.  You will not stop being an advocate for chidlren.  The people who perpetrated this abhorant scheme will not get away free.  what we sow we do reap. I believe this fully and totally.  I am glad you are able to find the silver lining in this experience.  And I am glad you found the gratefulness familyhood.  Sending love, liliwings.
