I need the power of prayer to change my life. I am destitute financially, was laid off, my house is in foreclosure and I suffer from clinical depression and anxiety disorder. I don't understand my calling, nor what God wants me to do. I feel helpless in limbo. I am tired of my entire life being one big apology. I need purpose. I need direction. Please, please pray for strong spiritual guidance in my life. Thank you.

I am so very sorry that you find yourself in such a difficult situation. You are not alone. There are others in the forum who have financial difficulties, suffer from depression and are searching for meaning in their lives. There is always someone hear glad to listen to you and offer support to what ever extent this is possible over cyberspace
 
I hope you will visit often and tell us more about yourself if you wish.
 
I certainly will keep you in my prayers and light a candle for you in the ALL group!

I too welcome you to the Forum. I'm very sorry you are in such a low state at the moment, but try to see it as only this moment in time.
I can imagine how bad you are feeling, as you suffer from clinical depression and anxiety. I know several people like you, and have always been quite an anxious person myself.
Your situation can get better. This too will pass.
Just live from day to day....moment to moment.
 
Prayer and positive thinking is very powerful. Start with one thing....maybe your house situation....and concentrate on it. Pray for help and for ideas for change, and keep your mind on the goal. Don't pray for too many things at once as that can confuse things.
 
I will certainly light a candle and pray with you that your life will begin to change for the better.

Your not helpless not at all ,everyone has dark patches some time or other in their
 
life and D God will always walk with us and carry us when we feel so alone.

I too don't understand what D God wants me to do at times but in reality I know he wants nothing
