Heavenly archetype. - 6/13/2009 12:34 PM ( #1 )
A heavenly prototypal flower may imminently bloom & blossom in each & everyone of us - it is just a matter of allowing it space & time to grow & develop optimally into an evermore fully enriched & enlivened specimen, variety, in our inner-garden... i.e., to cultivate as a matter of personal, spiritual caring our essence, our presence which much too often is direly neglected, untapped into, in order that in posse - possibility - may burgeon & proliferate evermore fully into in esse - Essence.

Archetypes, prototypes or universal patterns, then, appear in dream work as lucid dreams that are vivid representations of the heavenly archetype, pattern, which is forever manifesting itself in our psyche, our very being...

The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination. In our mind’s eye we visualize that heavenly image, for instance, which is forever growing & flourishing evermore abundantly into a beautifully bountiful, developed harvest in life.

There are always many hurdles & obstacles to overcome along our arduous path, albeit through divine wisdom, invocation, and prayer our most cherished dreams, the imaginary gratification of unconscious wishes, are reified, made real, & the praxis becomes a living, vibrant actuality…

Imagination, O Imagination!
You are my life's adoration.
You I shall not keep afar.
Imagination, O Imagination!

In false, binding lies I shall not cry;
I shall not welcome the life of impurity's ugliness.
With paltry victory I shall not smile and rejoice.
Imagination, O imagination!

To death's call I shall not respond.
The soul am I; no death have I.
No more, never, shall I walk along the wrong path.
Imagination, O imagination!

"Imagination is more important than knowledge."
EINSTEIN

Anatole France comes one step ahead and makes bold to say: "To know is nothing at all; to imagine is everything." Verily, Tagore, the Master-poet of modern India, was the emblem of an all-fulfilling imagination.

Unending Love

I seem to have loved you in numberless forms, numberless times...
In life after life, in age after age, forever.
My spellbound heart has made and remade the necklace of songs,
That you take as a gift, wear round your neck in your many forms,
In life after life, in age after age, forever.
Whenever I hear old chronicles of love, it's age old pain,
It's ancient tale of being apart or together.
As I stare on and on into the past, in the end you emerge,
Clad in the light of a pole-star, piercing the darkness of time.
You become an image of what is remembered forever.
You and I have floated here on the stream that brings from the fount.
At the heart of time, love of one for another.
We have played along side millions of lovers,
Shared in the same shy sweetness of meeting,
the distressful tears of farewell,
Old love but in shapes that renew and renew forever.

Rabindranath Tagore Poetry

Between Nothingness and Eternity

Barren of events,
Rich in pretensions
My earthly life.
Obscurity
My real name.
Wholly unto myself
I exist.
I wrap no soul
In my embrace.
No mentor worthy
Of my calibre
Have I.
I am all alone
Between failure
And frustration.
I am the red thread
Between
Nothingness
And Eternity.
