to joanne, sam and matthew

i leave you all in Jesus' care
the angel feather reminds me youre there
you are so beautiful tender and loved
for that i give thanks to God above
I cry and i grieve of the pain you all took
and the more i thought the more i shook
but now i must remember this
love comes from You with none to be missed
may angels watch over you in the night
guarding you holy and precious in light
curled up in His arms so safe and calm
i look for the feathers that keep you from harm
Jesus takes care of you all of your days
adoring and loving you in every way
one day i'll see you all face to face
til then please keep them in your precious grace

*  I was once with a closwe friend going along the coast and we were talking about onew of my babies that is now with Jesus.  suddenly my friend bent down and picked something up and then gave it to me saying she had found me an angel feather, and it showed that Jesus and the angels were looking after all my little ones.  whenever i see an angel feather now it makes me think that Jesus is there taking care of my precious children, and that the feather is them showing that they are always there no matter what.

Dear Eleanor,
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Angel feathers seem to appear just at the right moment don't they? I find this with other special signs too. It proves we are never alone.

with Love,

Please light a candle for my sisters. My one sister who was 51 years old lost her battle to Squamaous Cell cancer. It started in her brain from a brain tumor.

Her name was Peg, she was a mother of seven and our sister, then the other sister is a year younger then Peg and a year older then me well she has taken our sister Peg death hard. Her name is Dotti. Dotti is now fifty one years old and Peg's death, Dotti is still in a deep griefing over our sister. I love my sister too but Peg is gone and I have griefed also, I cried,I got depressed, and gone through many emotions of the steps of griefing. I love my sister Dotti too and she is still alive but Peg's death has hit my sister Dotti hard as I said. It is like even though Dotti is still with us, she is far from me. It has been two years on January 17,2007 since our sister peg lost her battle to cancer and since her death my sister Dotti has not been the same. Dotti use to laugh, joke, smile, enjoyed life, her grandchildren but now today since Peg's passing, My sister Dotti don't smile much and she takes everything to heart. She tells we just do not understand how she is feeling, what she is going through, well she was my sister too, I do understand,I do miss her just as much as Dotti misses her. I tell my sister Dotti she needs to move on with her life and enjoy living Peg would want this. I also say to sister Dotti, you need to let go so our sister Peg can rest in peace. My sister Dottie says, nobody thinks about Peg anymore, you act like she did not even exist but this not true. I treasure the last few memories we had together with Peg. Please like a candle for my sister Dotti, heal from griefing over the lost of our sister Peg. I would like to see my sister smile again, laugh, joke, see her full of life and enjoy life again. How long does it take for her to get over our sister Peg? Dotti is so angry a lot and I know and understand this is part of the griefing steps. Thank-You for allowing me to share my story and again please light a candle for my sister Dotti.

Welcome to the forum, Starbug!

I am so very sorry for the loss of your sister Peg. You are also deeply concerned about your sister Dotti's ongoing grieving. You would like to have her back agaiin the way she used to be. Everyone grieves differently and may take a different length of time. It isn't really a matter of getting over such a loss but getting through it. Peg will always be missing in your lives, but hopefully the empty space she has left will be filled with good memories. She will always be with you in your hearts.
Perhaps Dotti would be helped by a support group or grief counseling.

I'll be glad to light a candle for Dotti in the ALL group, and remember you all in my prayers,

With every good wish and love,
Edda

PS: I am a little confused by the first names since looking at your profile I noticed that you registered as Dotti.
Peace and joy!

Dear Starbug,
I too welcome you to the Forum, and I will light a candle for you and your sisters.
I understand your concern about Dotti. 2 years isn't really very long really to be getting over grief, but I feel Dotti does need some help. She could be depressed, or worried about her own health. There is help out there and perhaps you could help her find some.

I saw a program today that illustrated perfectly how letting go of our anger, or holding on to it can affect our lives and health. Two sets of parents had had a child murdered in different circumstances. One set of parents had learned to forgive the murderer and were able to move on. The other set could not, and didn't want to forgive or let go. They wanted to hold on to their pain and anger. Their faces were so different, it was striking. The ones who had forgiven were able to smile and their faces were relaxed, but the ones who didn't want to forgive were eaten up by anger and grief, and their faces were sad and bitter looking. I felt so sad for the ones who couldn't let go of their hatred.

So I feel for you Starbug, and hope you can help Dotti towards recovery.
I will light a candle now for you all.

Blessings,
Jude

What a beautiful and tender poem,
dear Sandra . . .
I know that your heartbreak will always remain
beneath today's laughter,
but you know
that in your heart
the gift of him is still
and will forever
be with you as well
with love . . .
