Dear Sparrow,

William and Dorothy remain in my prayers!

Almost nobody really stays with a "diet"! My guess is that the more one thinks about food the more one wants to eat. I prefer calling it a change of eating habits for good! Perhaps a dietician at the hospital could be helpful in advising a healthy approach to eating that is less confusing and doesn't involve so much counting.

Love,
Edda
Peace and joy!

The wonders of modern medicine!
Five days after this heart surgery
William has been released,
and is now home
with Dorothy
and their two cats.

I printed up your messages for them,
and dropped them off . . .
neither one could read them,
they were so moved.
Dorothy wept as I read each heartfelt prayer
from all of you wonderful people.
In case you don't realize how much this means to people,
I can give you positive testament
to the power of what you have so lovingly offered
to people you have never met.
They are both incredulous
that 'strangers' would pray for them
so kindly and thoughtfully
Dorothy has asked me to thank you,
and so I thank you from the bottom of my heart
and on behalf of grateful friends.
I took over a little brass ornament
with hanging hearts and little bells.
I told them that whenever they look at it,
or hear its song
to remember
all the hearts
of those who care
with love . . .

Dear Sparrrow,

Thank you for the good news that William is back home!

Even though we don't know him and Dorothy in person, it is a privilege to accompany them and others in difficult times!

Thank you for the post Sparrow
That was a beautiful idea to print out all the messages.  A true gift from and for the heart.

I am so glad to hear that William is home now.  And yes, that seems very fast.  What a miracle modern medicine can be !!!   I stayed in the hospital longer than that for something rather minor back in the olden days .,.... 42 years ago.  So glad to hear he is recovering. What a blessing and miracle.  with love, liliwings

Thank you Janessa,
for your prayers.

William had a followup appointment this week,
and the doctor is very pleased with his progress.
Thank you all so much
for your thoughtfulness and your prayers.
It has meant the world to them.
Dorothy keeps telling me
how astounding it is to her
that people from all over the world,
people they don't even know,
are taking the time and energy
to be concerned
for a stranger.
I tell her,
that there are no strangers here
with love . . .

A candle please,
and a prayer . . .
William continues to improve.
It is for his sister
that I ask this prayer.
She has terminal cancer,
and is relinquishing treatment . . .
all in the family are grieving deeply.
I pray for guidance and love and support
as they enter this new chapter in the journey . . .
peace and compassion
as they prepare to let her go
with grace and with love . . .
sparrow
ps. candle group is 'will'
thank you so much.
Your prayers continue to mean so very much to Dorothy and William.

Dear Sparrow,

My heart goes out to William, his sister and Dorothy! The choice of not seeking further therapy can be hard for the family but needs to honored and supported. This time of Good-byes is precious for all of them even though very difficult.

I will light a candle for them! My prayers will accompany them as well!

Much love,
Edda
Peace and joy!

May I ask again,
for candles lit for Dorothy and William.
Elsie, William's sister
lost a long battle with cancer on Saturday night.
Although Dorothy is not able to visit the forum,
she has been visiting her candle group
since I told her about it.
The candles lit mean so much to her,
to William,
and to his family.
They do not understand how complete strangers
can be so kind and loving . . .
the candle group is still called will.

Thank you so very much
with love . . .

Services for Elsie are this afternoon.
Dorothy has asked me
to be sure and let everyone know
how blessed she feels
to have so many people
thinking of her and William at this time
with love . . .
