Not just good old you tube, but thankyou Jude for finding that song. im not a massive fan of victoria wood as ive watched one of her comedy shows where shes on the stage and goes a irt out of order. but hearing that song always makes me roar with laughter because its so funny and not too off the plot!!!

Looking at the list of people who have sung Nature Boy, I think it's probably Ella Fitzgerald I remember. I seem to remember it was a woman. Jude

i dont know whether anyone like this and im not much up on youtube, but has anyone heard f the song you raise me up? - alot of people have sung it recently, but my favourite is Josh Groban, and i can feel the power of the song and the words which to me are to be sung to God. it is beautiful and helps me to pray when im struggling coming into Gods presence. dancing dolphin.

I can vouch for the transformative power of music!!! This morning I had a 'rude' awakening because my dog had had an accident and I was ordered to "wash that floor, don't leave it like that." by my Son's girlfriend. (I ask you! ) So......in my own time I put on a Rock & Roll album and set to work on the floor. I was REALLY angry. Then comes this song, much beloved by me as a teenage rock & roller!! and I feel much better now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJtBKLrU0Ig&NR=1 Jude

....forgot to tell you, the girlfriend called the floor "a disgusting mess" and I wanted to reply, "Oh, and are you going to clean up the disgusting mess you left in the kitchen?" (meaning the array of dirty dishes, pots and pans and general messiness from the night before) but I didn't say a word. Jude

Talking of old songs that help, here's Lizz Wright's version of Cat Stevens favorite of mine. She's my current most favorite singer, and I think she'll stay there. I think it's a lot to do with how comfortable she is being her. I can't think of another singer who has a voice like hers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjAXFce7sSA&feature=related

I agree with you Joe....she's got a unique voice. Funnily enough I was listening to the Cat Stevens version only a day or two ago on YouTube! Jude
