Well!! Sparrow, talk about great minds....I just lit a candle for him asking that he takes notice of the healthcare people and improves his diet and self care. He is very thin, and I didn't worry too much as it's a family thing on my Mother's side, but it's obvious he hasn't been looking after himself properly.
His church has some very strange ideas on what he can eat or not, so I hope that hasn't anything to do with it!!

Graham is continuing to improve, and is getting about in the hospital now.
He seems to be responding to treatment and will not be needing a colostomy bag, which I imagine will be a great relief to him.

An update on Graham.
He is out of hospital now, and trying to run before he can walk! Short of tying him down I don't know what can be done.
His scars still haven't healed and need tratment every day at the moment. I think a friend from his church is keeping an eye on him and making sure he has meals.

I just now found this topic and wanted to extend my love and support to you and Graham during this difficult time. I am happy to hear he doesnt have to get the c. bag. That is a big relief! I will pray for his strength and health to get better. I will also light a candle for him now.

I also just found this site.  I'm happy Graham is doing better and doesn't need a colostomy.  I have several friends who had to have colostomies.  They have dealt with them brilliantly but it is something that one doesn't ever choose to do.

I am lighting a candle for your brother as well as this group.  I also lit candles last night for Jade Goody.  She's far too young to die...

I really had not come to this section of the forums until yesterday.  I will surely light a candle for your brother, Maurice.  that he receive all the help that he needs to recover from his surgery and maintain health and well being.   I see that you use the group "son"  So I will put it in that group. Jady Goody has died in her sleep, her publicist Max Clifford said.
The reality TV star, who suffered a public battle with cervical cancer, died at her home in Upshire, Essex, at 3.14am on Mother's Day.
Goody's mother Jackiey Budden said: "My beautiful daughter is at peace."
 
My heart breaks for her children as they are suffering pain and no one can take this away only their Mummy.
