Deepak Chopra, endocrinologist, looks to Quantum Healing, past all the wonder drugs & modern technology to a natural way of healing which speaks to an integration of mind and body. This body-mind integration & unification leads to an integral approach & methodology which can bring about deep healing w/ clients who are much more likely to envision recovery as a lifelong process of working to reach their full potential in that they see themselves in terms as a timeless, deathless being w/ every cell awakening to a new existence as an onto-psychosomatic entity - i.e., a body-mind-spirit continuum.
Transpersonal therapy, for instance, enhances spiritual development, focusing on the intangible aspects of human experience & awareness of unrealized spiritual capacity. And this new paradigm tells us that we are constantly making and unmaking our bodies at the quantum level which means we are constantly unfolding hidden potential of unrealized spiritual capacity - making the unconscious conscious. As Dr. Chopra says, if you could live in the present moment - not in the past or the future - you would see the flavor of eternity; and when one metabolizes the experience of eternity, our body doesn't age.
