TRIBUTE FOR THE SINGER GREGORY LEMARCHAL

Dear Marie-Christine,
 
Thank you for reminding us to give financially and to be donors.  There are so many good causes that none of us should find it difficult to find an interest for which we can happily part with our money.  I believe in the saying "Give until it feels GOOD!" 
 
Actually the USA does have a "National Donor Day."  It's February 14, which of course is also Valentine's Day.  Maybe most of us aren't as aware of it as we should be as it's overshadowed by large bouquets of flowers and candy being delivered from one loved one to another.  But what greater showing of love is there than the gift of life -- given in the most unselfish of ways:  anonymously and without the ability to be thanked!!
 
In the USA, May is "Cystic Fibrosis Month."  Over 500 cities support the work of researchers searching for cures to this horrible disease by hosting fund-raising walks as part of the "Great Strides" campaign.  A lot of large employers encourage their staffs to participate.
 
Prayers for Gregory Lemarchal and for all of those who strive for a cure for the disease which took his life.

his sister leslie lemarchal has written a book with many pictures of him.  this book will be on bookshops tomorrow this thursday.  all the benefits will go to the organisation created by his parents against cystic fibrosis.
 
the title of the book is "mon frère, l'artiste"  (my brother, the artist)

at this time, there is the french telethon.  the telethon is a show in the whole france. the objective is to fight against all the hereditary diseases (not only cystic fibrosis).

 last week, there was a TV show against cystic fibrosis with gregory's family and the star academy.

Grégory Lemarchal was a fantastic singer, but first of all he was a very lovely person... It is so sad that he has gone... His songs are so wonderful, I have to listen to them every day! It is sad, that almost nobody is remembering him in Germany... I'll never forget him!  Greetings from Germany! If somebody doesn't know him, have a look at "you tube" especially his song "je t'écris" is beautiful! Thanks for remember him (and please don't take notice about my bad english!)

The song "je t'écris" is really one of my favorite - only accompagnied with the piano, his voice creeps me (if it can be written like this)... I hope he will never be forgotten, his life make sense and will give hope to other persons, I am certain!

Two persons I 've loved have died this week... It is so sad.... But the music of Grégory is helping me - and so I just want to say thank you to him - eaven he has gone almost one year now, he is still there for me... And it will be the same for the two persons I 've just lost. Saint - Exupéry wrote: On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur (St Exupéry)- and their will be forever in my heart no matter what comes...

Thank you "Hildegard" and "Malgoire" for your messages... It was a very sad time the two last weeks, but I am not alone (my friends and family are still there) and like the french says "le souvenir reste"...
 

Please have a thought or a candle for Grégory tomorrow - he dad gone one year ago on April 30th... We still miss him so much! Thank you!

well iam new here so slowly i will learn how this forum works
ia, going to light a candle in gregory memory,cause he gaves us so much
gregory life was a lesson of courage,strenght,fight he was an example for everyone
who suffers from cystic fibrosis i don,t know if is possible but i would like

Gregory Lemarchal is so warmly remembered by many who appreciated his singing and loved him for who he was. His life also reminds us what heavy toll cystic fibrosis takes from those suffering from it.

thank you so much for the warm welcome,soon i will be working very well with this forum,you are right gregory will be allways remembered for who he was,and there is lot of people who won,t let it be forget,not only as an artist but also a very brave person,who fight with everything he had is ilness,is music is spread all over the world...he left a message of hope to everyone who as cystic fibrosis,by never give the dreams,never give up fighting,even when they don,t have the strenght to do it,my heart is with everyone who suffers from this terrible desease,i just pray that a cure is found soon...god bless you
