Dear Edda . . . I am so glad to hear that Leon is improving, and that the staples have been removed. The stitches will be another thing . . . more power to you! It takes longer, doesn't it, to heal as we get older. Don't forget to take care of you too with much love (and a gentle hug (((♥))) for Leon) . . . sparrow

Dear Sparrow, Thank you for caring! Leon has to be hugged gently because we don't want to press on his sore shoulder and arm! Have a great, "real" weekend! Much love and warm hugs, Edda

Hello! Took me awhile to find the update on Leon! So sorry to hear about his fall but glad to hear he is recovering. I was so happy to hear of your helpful neighbor! Praying for Leon's continued recovery and for your strength. Blessings to you both! :) Tara

Thank you, Tara, for your kind words! It isn't easy to be 94 years old; it is a school for humility. It hard for Leon no to be able to do many things for himself anymore. Fortunately he has learned to accept help. We are grateful for our neighbors. Just this evening as we were coming back from church one neighbor, a well-built, still young man, helped me move the ramps for Leon's electric scooter, and reminded Leon to call him if he needs help getting upstairs! Don't think you have worn out your welcome!" he said to me the other day! Love, Edda

I just wanted to drop off two hugs for Edda and Leon: ((hug)) ((hug)) Edda, I'm glad Leon's getting better; I'm still praying for both of you. I'll light another candle for you both tonight.
Praying for friends~ Missing a lost friend~ Kelly C
