Dear Eleanor . . .
Of course it is so very important
that you have some 'me' time,
and from what you have written
I can see that you know this.
Now don't ruin it by feeling guilty . . .
Your are a good friend to Joy.
I know it has not been a long time yet for her,
and her sorrow is still fresh,
but surely and gently over time,
she must begin to heal,
and it must come from within her.
You can only be there for her--
you cannot do it for her.
. . . in time, in time
with love . . .

Thanks Sparrow.  it is helpful to hear that.

For a week or so Joy has been feeling numb, but she burst out crrying and i just held her in a hug.  i so wish i had a magic wand to help her with everything she has been through, but all i can do is pray for her and be there for her, while God ministers to her.  i know this but i feel helpness.

Dear Eleanor,

Yes, we do feel helpless when faced by friends and loved ones in trouble and pain, but you are doing the one most important thing, and that is to be there for Joy...just being with her.

Blessings to you both,

with Love,
Jude

Dear Eleanor,

I agree with Jude. We all feel helpless, because we like to be able to do things, but being there is the most important thing! It is also the hardest one!

You and Joy are in my prayers!

Much love,
Edda
Peace and joy!

Joy is so sad, and she is trying to hold her feelings inside of her so she cazn be strong for her kids.  but then she tries tom do the same with everyone in her grief, and i have to be there ages, before she can even tell me.  i just keep, telliung her im with her.

because she wants to self harm, i went with her to the GPs surgery and she is being refered to a ,psychiatrist to look at her medication and her feelings and stuff.

Please can you continue to pray for her.

Thanks so much.

Dear Eleanor . . .
I pray that Joy might begin to heal . . .
I am happy to hear that she is receiving professional help---
someone who might be able to guide her through her pain.
You are a good friend,
and nothing can lessen the power that is in this . . .
both of you remain very much in my prayers
with love . . .
