News from Line (Green Woman)

- Going through another echography (it will be the third one!) Sept. 30, the radiologist who read my magnetic resonance imaging wants to be there while they do it. I'm certainly going to ask her why, what is going on, etc.
- The results about the "unwanted colonies" are in but I don't know what they are, the last time I spoke to my doctor's secretary, my doctor had not even read them yet.
- I will know what is my situation and the chosen course of treatment only October 8. *sigh...* The first suspicion that something was seriously wrong was on June 12. My patience is being tested. I find that hard to live with, and also the anguish.
- My doctor told me that it is unlikely my breast cancer (on both sides) has spread since it is small and that kind spreads only in about 15% of cases. But she did not even feel my cancer at manual exam, on the other hand.
- Sometimes I feel I go through phases where everything is going wrong. Is it because I am not grounded, or something? I don't know. It's more likely because I work too much and did not effect the lifestyle changes I should have.
- My spouse has asked for my hand, he wants to marry me, after 5 years of living together, he says he is certain I am "the one". I don't think getting my divorce will be very dificult since I am sick and no money is involved. I also know my ex wants to get married too.
- Being very careful about what I eat. Too much soya is bad for me.

Dear Line, I know how frustrating it is to have to wait, but on the other hand, I would hope, if they thought there was need, the medical team would be pushing it along much quicker than they are. I've lit a candle for you and pray that the news will be positive when it comes. Congratulations on your proposal! with Love, Jude

Dear Line, I am sorry you have to go through so much waiting, uncertainty and the anguish associated with it! This is certainly very hard on you! Perhaps the radiologist wants to be present at you next echography to make sure special attention is paid to areas of interest to her. Congratulations on your proposal! I am sure the love of your partner is of great support to you at this dificult time. I'll light a candle for you! Much love, Edda

Dear Line . . . I am so happy to see a post from you, as I have been wondering how you are doing. I can surely understand how hard it must be waiting for the proper treatment to be decided. It seems that you recognize what you can do to help yourself while you wait . . . getting the rest you need, and an appropriate diet. Congratulations too, on your proposal. Having someone who loves you by your side may be the most important 'treatment' of all. You are very much in my thoughts and prayers, dear Line with much hope and love . . . sparrow
