I am sorry I have not been posting but things here are going haywire
 
1) I have cellulitis and have been doctoring.  One of the meds they gave me caused a violent reaction so now that is another med I am allergic to
2) EZ my controlled seizure greyhound had two seizures within 15 days so there is more doctor visits
 
But I have been trying to stay in touch with Sandra and give her updates
 
BTW the cellulitis was the after effect of the greyhounds running into my leg and I do have another doctor appt. today so will update when I get home

I'm so sorry to hear of all your problems. Cellulitis is quite a difficult thing to treat and I'm sorry you are having trouble with treatments.
 
On top of that you have worries about your dog. I hope all problems will be short lived and that things will settle down for you soon.

hi Beryl.  im not sure wether we have met here before so if not hello.  im sorry about all the things you have going on right now.  i had a little bouyt of celulitis once stsrting in my leg.  so i know it can take a bit to stop it but i praying for you that you will be healed physically and everythinbg else.  but be gentle with yourself - you have a lot going on so just remember rome wasnt built in a day. 
 
its good to see you on the board, but remember you need resting time as well.

Back from the doctor and he is putting me in the hospital for 2 to 3 days to treat me with IV anti biotics will up date you when I get home or have access to a computer plus he wants to schedule an endoscopy for follow up from the ct
 
I have made arrangements with a greyhound savy kennel to keep the pups and they are aware of EZ having seizures.  Just filled his prescription

Thank you Edda I do believe that I just need some IV antibiotics to get rid of the cellulitis and of course stay off of my feet for awhile.  Doctor said 2 to 3 days praying that I do not have to stay in the hospital any longer.

it was terribly painful.

I am glad I only had to spend a couple of days in the hospital.  One good piece of good news is that I do not have an infection but am on antibiotics and of course dressing changes.  It is a hematoma and they withdrew two syringes of blood, he also scraped the scab of and the injection to numb the site hurt like the dickens.  I wil have to see him in 3 weeks but keep an eye on the leg but contact him sooner if I think there is something wrong..

Yes dear Sandra I can get my pups today after 9am est.
 
I see you are checking out greyhounds they do come in some beautiful colors but alas the poor black greys have a hard time getting adopted.  We do not understand why as they are so loving.  It might be a phobia against black as it is against black cats.  Who knows.
 
This morning the leg feels pretty good and sleeping in my own bed and not getting woke up felt great.
