At the request of the Admin Team, listed below are the directions used to post a photo on any of the Gratefulness Community Forums & discussion groups.
Please note: All photographs posted will be subject to the same Gratefulness Forum Rules as those for posting messages. In order to post photographs on the forum, one must first go to Photobucket or a similar service and open an individual personal account under one's own name and personal data, and then set a log on and password. After the account has been opened, photos can then be uploaded into that account from your computer. After the photos have been uploaded into photobucket, a page will come up showing you what has been uploaded. At the bottom of this page you will see a box entitled “Return to Album.” Click on this box and it will return you to your home page.
Then open another window and Log on to the Gratefulness website, go to the Grateful Living Forum and click on “Grateful for Beauty.” Go to the last item posted on this thread and click reply as you normally do to reply to any message. When the message post box comes up, type in whatever message you want. Then go up to the menu bar and go toward the right hand side. You will see a square box with a small mountain and sun above the mountain. Click on that box. This will bring up a smaller box titled “Enter Image URL:”(See Sample Below) Leave the Gratefulness box open as you see it.
Go back to your Photobucket window, move the cursor over a thumbnail photo that you want to post and you will see this
below the photo. Click on the Direct Link and it will highlight the “http” link. Cut or copy this link. Then return to the gratefulness window
Paste the “direct link http:” that you cut/copied from Photobucket into the space provided for it in the smaller box on your Gratefulness for Beauty posting page (See sample above). Then click the oblong circle entitled “Insert Image” at the lower right of the small box. Your picture will then appear in the message you are posting.
Repeat this process for each picture you are posting. When you have posted all your pictures, if you want to post a message after the pictures, scroll down past the end of your last picture posted type your message and then click the “Post Message” as you normally do. Your pictures and messages will now be posted.
PLEASE NOTE; If at any time you
MOVE OR DELETE a photo from your personal Photobucket Album and that photo has been posted on the Gratefulness forum, in an email, or any where else,
MOVING OR DELETING it from your personal album
will automatically trigger Photobucket to remove it from the Gratefulness forum, from any emails or from any other site on which it has been posted.
