Sorry but I am unsure where to pop this post.
 
My computer has a virus attack on it I am fine to send and recieve emails but please if you get an email from anyone with the words Damn D :)  ( just like this) do not open it as I know now myself it's a virus 
  

 
It can send a spam to everyone on your contact list.... . Anything with an attachment or anything that say's you have been blocked on someone's msn list click here to see who don't open.
 
I did not know and I opened an email stating the above and now the virus has atttacked my email address book and it can send these emails to everyone in my address book as I found this out last night Apparently it was on the news but I did not hear it.
 
It will say it's from from someone you know but adressed to undisclosed-recipients: .You may not  notice it, just like I did not .If I thought about it though no one you know would block you  
 
The worrying thing is  I do have a virus checker as well
 
I am trying to sort it out now  .

Thank you Fluffy I am pleased to say I have got rid of it myself I have another software thing that my computer man installed and I ran an hour long in depth scan and it spotted the virus plus killed it.Now don't tell me viruses are people too ..

I know the feeling! I remember the first time my Antivirus found a 'Trojan' ....I panicked. This hideous picture came on the screen looking like a troll or something, and it frightened me nearly to death. It was the warning from AVAST that a 'Trojan' had been spotted. It's found 2 on links people have put on here too. (not any of you folks I hasten to add!!)

So, I did a scan............................................
and "Mr. K.", my Security said: found 23 "worm"... - deleted ... -
 
But I had no problems as you... As you all maybe foresee, I am in panik in seconds......
Maybe it would be good, to put into the "Re´s" in such a situation: important information or something like this? - to can make differences...
 
And don´t be sad, Sandra, not just you have such bad attacks...The most time I wouldn´t know it, if my security wouldn´t inform me about this attacks happend and are deleted...

I was a few monthes ago amazed why my PC was such slow (of course he w a s , but such..), it need to boot about 40 min....it was a Trojan too, now I have a new Pc and new programs...
but it was terrible it need energy to look this sites here...
 
I had time to air the room(s), make breakfast, to brush my teeth, to have a shower, to make my bed, to put away the crockery and than sit down and ... stay here for a while, reading slowly, becaus sites opend slowly, writing slowly, because letters came slowly...it was a time filled with PEACE in the meanwhile my nerves went down...äh, peace not always is peace...
 
So, don´t annoy, Sandra, now you can be sure, everything works again (I hope)...

I thought my emails were a bit goobdlygook and that I may confuse everyone I guess I did but at least your virus thing killed my yuckie bugsI should think first I guess but that's me I always jump in feet first

I know all about slow computers!!**!! Fortunately that one is long gone. I guess we must all be very grateful for Antivirus programs or else none of us would be using our computers.
