My son & daughter-in-law were in the Army and went in to Bagdhad on the first round and then completed a 2nd tour before leaving the Army. Now my neighbor is serving in the Green Zone and has been under the attack of Al-Sadr with some close calls. I pray for every soldier and their families that they will come home safely. God is watching over all of them and holding them in His hand.
For all who suffer, may God grant you peace

Welcome to the forum, Beth! Thank you for reminding us to keep the soldiers serving in Iraq in our prayers that they may be safe. We include their families affected by their long absences in many ways, mindful of their sacrifices, concerns and anxieties.

Wishing you everything good,
Edda
Peace and joy!

Adding my prayers to the group. My niece just underwent 6 months of intensive training and was deployed to Iraq last tuesday. Prayers for all the troops that they return to their families and loved ones safe, body, mind and soul. God Bless the U.S.
