Today I am very grateful for being able to "keep my cool" and laugh at totally
"Murphy's Law day"(meaning-everything that go wrong will).  From the moment
of getting out of bed this morning, it just became one thing after another, several
things almost ruined but saved in the last minute.  At least no one was cut when
the favorite vase came crashing to the floor.  I am grateful this day is coming
to a close and for those little moments when I could laugh at it all rather than
following the seeming design of the fates for today--that I just give up and quit.

Tomorrow is another day, a new day, and a new beginning and in the grand scheme
of things, that's all that matters.

A message from Barbara:
 
I pray for us all things are going wonderfully at the new office as we settle in
My personal situation is I'm homeless and Joe is leaving so I have no income
my daughter will take me in reluctantly I go however I believe the God who gave
me a donated office space in Park ridge will also give me a salary soon
Keep me in prayer as soon as I find my password will return to network on
these library computers mine crashed.....send my love and prayers to all

Today I am grateful to hear once more from Barbara, and that her office is going well. Also grateful she has somewhere to live. Prayers that she soon has her own home and income.
Also grateful to hear from Sharon, and that a reason for her tiredness which can be remedied has been found.
 
I am grateful for another sunny day....much cooler now, but welcome all the same.
 
For a nectarine and strawberry smoothie for breakfast.
 
For apples cooked and put in the freezer, and for more apples still to come.

i am grateful for the really early birdsong serenading me this morning.  it is so lovely to hear nature like this.
i am also grateful for music that calms down the soul.
i am thankful for bananas.
and i am grateful for the carers here where i am right now and all they do with all of us.  they are such a blessing.

Today I am grateful for finding my way back here after many attempts of logging in and a bit confused with the new page design to post. Glad to be here and have been keeping up on posts and offering prayers for everyone. 
I am grateful for my pups, 1 new pup and one 15 yr. old pup at heart. Unconditional love from these two sure can give a great, warm and fuzzy feeling.

Grateful for this day, even without the sun shining. The sun will return, as with happiness that has been allowed to be in my life again and continues. Happiness being a state of mind, keeping my heart and mind open for love and happiness. Allowing myself to have both, even in, and after the worst of times, that must be worked through to allow healing.  
Grateful for my yellow mums and the beauty they bring.

And grateful for some bonding, golden moments picking raspberries over the weekend with the little one, with no bee stings, there were many present and feeding off of the raspberries. And grateful I could post my own photos, I hope this works. It took some time figuring out the process to do so.
I am grateful for this place and the many truly special people, full of love and caring in the midst of their own concerns.
