I tried, I really did, but I broke down and bought 2 more packs. More prayers I guess.

Dear Lynn,
some need just one attempt, some (like me) need very many.
So I know how hard it can be and I pray for you and everybody who tries to stop smoking.
Most important thing: Don´t give up the fight. Just try again later.
And look for friends in the same situation, for example in our group "nosmo".
Be understandig for yourself. Smoking is a addiction, there is nothing you did wrong. But it´s stronger than you. So quit it forever, if you want to be free.

i see quitting as a process.  it seems to take most people a couple tries, at least, to get it.  *hug*

Help them to discover that their live is beyond addictions.

This is a wonderful idea, and I will light a candle for my girlfriend Roxanne that she continue to succeed in her quest to quit smoking. She does not have family support, and of course with two other members smoking and causing her stress in the
household she is finding it difficult, but has successfully quit for three weeks now. Go Roxanne!

Mario is a nonsmoker since 6 weeks, me I am a nonsmoker since one month.

The only thing which made it sometimes really hard for me was drinking alcohol so I want to stop it for the next month.

Maybe  you also know somebody who wants to quit smoking and you would like to light a candle for him:

I am thankful for our success and I´m looking hopeful into the future.
It is so beautiful to feel happy and relaxed without cigarettes!!

What a wonderful idea for a group!  I know how hard it is to quit smoking because I did it about 6 years ago.  Trust me, you can do it!  Even if it takes 2 or 3 tries to finally quit (it did for me) just keep at it.  Knowing that there are people praying for you helps.  I'll be lighting candles here a LOT!  God bless.

Marie, congratulations! I'll keep lighting candles that you and others who have stopped smoking will persevere.
Here, in the Midwest of the U.S. we are still in a deepfreeze  hoping for spring!

Hello,

I want to invite every smoker to stop smoking, because you will breath once again very freely and you will find much more peace in your heart.

If you know somebody, who wants to stop smoking, please try to help and affirmate him without condemning.

Please support our group "nosmo":
