Hello Marie. I have been reading your thread over time and contemplating quitting smoking. I have been an on again off again smoker. I quit for seven years once and went back. Another time I quit for 5 years and went back. I stopped during the time of having my children and went back when my daughter was just about a week old, although I do not smoke around her at home, usually in the basement, garage or outside and never in the car with her. So now it has been 4 years since my daughter, and I said I would quit when she was 1 year old well., three years later here I am. Your thread and support here seem to be working. I know it is mind over matter. All the times I quit I did it by not buying anymore. No trips to the gas station for the three pack special.
I am really considering.
Congratulations Lynn and everyone else that has kicked the habit.

Dear Marie, a new year a new start! A good time to quit again! You already know that you can do it! Do it for your own health and for your family who needs you! My prayers are with you!

Dear Marie,
I'm with Edda here. Quit because you think you're worth it.

Edda and Jude thanks for the positive input. Yes it is time, smoking has become more of an imposition and on the run, I no longer enjoy it and wonder why I keep smoking. The New Year is a great time to start. I am on my last pack and will bypass the store when the urge comes to resupply. The first 24 hours is the worse but the effort will be worth health of the future. Thanks.

What a beautiful idea!
I have smoked a few times in the recent past and have found that this is a beautiful remedy to fight the addiction.
Thanks!
Peace

Hello dear candlelighter,

since the beginning of 2008 it is forbidden in Bavaria to smoke in restaurants and pubs.
I´m really happy about this advantage. I hope it shows a lot of people, that smoking is really damaging and that we should liberate ourselves from it.

Please light candles on this site for beginning nonsmokers

God bless you

Hello,

I really would like to give hope to all smokers who want to quit it.

Maybe this way will be stony for you in the beginning, but in the end you will see that these stones are made of gold.

Please support our group nosmo
and light a candle for peace in our body and soul
