Edda and Leon

A week from tomorrow, Leon goes into the hospital for pre-surgery, with surgery on Friday, 1/11/08. I have started a new candle group E & L to begin new prayers and candles of support for the success of Leon's surgery and that the Holy One will peacefully surround them both in an abundance of strength filled, healing Love.

Yesterday is gone forever.Tomorrow may not come. Live Fully each moment today. Look for Good Things that Happen to you Every Day.

I am such a believer in prayer and medicine combined years ago as I was going to have a tumor removed from my inner ear I asked my Mom to have a minister come and pray I had such a miraculously quick recovery I went home the next morning....a year after all the follow up the surgeon admitted he had found more of a problem and had to give me a false ear drum he could not guaruntee anything well I hear up to 85% and all other symptoms mostly went away...itwas benign and well you know as I do God is our healer...he will send the medical staff, support and healing you need...I will continue to light candles and pray

Edda,
 I too add my prayers with the prayers others have made for a safe surgery for Leon. I lit a candle under the group E & L to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers every day.
 
One piece of advice is to have Leon practice deep breathing now so that his lungs are in good shape and the likelihood of pneumonia or breathing difficulties while in the hospital are minimized.

Edda, You and Leon are in my prayers. I pray that all goes according to plans and there are no surprises. Leon has waitied so long for this surgery, he derserves one with smooth sailing.
 
Candles are also lit under LEON, but you can never have too many prayers or candles.  God bless you both.

Vicky, many thanks to you as well for all the candles you have lit along the way. You are right, one can never have too many prayers! I hope for Leon's sake that all goes well and his recovery is speedy, though it won't be as speedy as he thinks.

In a little more than two days, Leon will enter the hospital and have his surgery in a little more than three days (Friday). May we continue to support them with our candles(candle link above) and prayers.

Dear Edda, Betty, and all my Gratefulness family very tired tonight busy day with annual report due. I will keep you all especially Edda and your Dear Leon in my prayers and meditations for healing, Betty your quotes and discussions were true Blessings and reminded me of how we all are truly wounded healers...that gives me the patience I need when others may be difficult or disappointing. Welcome to the new member who sent the beautiful video on Blessings and Donna Marie will be in my continued prayers but I feel like many here the Holy One has intervened on her behalf. Today I spent a lot of time on the phone to find out just when Leon is supposed to be in the hospital on Thursday. Then I had to arrange transportation for him. The Medicar is supposed to pick us up at 7:00 AM!
