The pictures this morning
are wonderful!
I love the restaurant you went to,
liliwings . . .
was it an open-air cafe?
Yes, it is my garden . . .
Thank you
Betty,
for the blooms
from our 'cheeky nanny' . . .
she is with us in spirit . . .
I have globe thistles in my garden,
and will take a picture
when they bloom.
In the meantime,
here is some astilbe and monarda,
and once in awhile,
the monarda (bee balm)
has some double decker blooms
like this!
and some hosta in bloom for
Edda . . .
Thank you
Jude, for more of your dancers.
Too bad that I cannot see you in the picture.
When I was 12 years old,
our family went camping at the Grand Canyon.
While on the north rim,
we watched a dance performance put on by Native American Indians.
It was done on a raised square,
and all the watchers stood in a circle
around the square.
A year or so later,
my father was browsing through our latest edition of National Geographic magazine,
and what do you know?
A National Geographic photographer
had been standing across the square from me
and taken a photograph of the dancers,
behind which were standing the watchers,
and my father and I were in the picture!
So you never know, Jude,
when the camera might catch
you.
I too,
was thinking you were starting work this week,
Thankful one.
Another week to prepare . . .
you are very much in my thoughts and my prayers
You are so right, dear
Isabella . . .
this room is such a good place to visit,
no matter what time of the day.
I am grateful
for the sharing of all that is beautiful on this thread,
and I am grateful for all of you
with love . . .
