Vioent storms and tornadoes had hit the Southern States of the United States last night. Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky and Tennessee.  52 people were killed. Rescue teams are still searching for people.

Please light a candle and pray for the victims, and the families, and the impact that this tragic severe weather tornado has had in their lives.

Severe snow storms are moving through the midwest states with as much as one foot of snow. I pray for everyone that will be driving through this storm that they may be safe.

And for all worldwide that are having severe weather conditions, I pray that they may be safe from harm.

The candle group is called south.

Thank you
Marie

Thank you, Marie, for starting this thread. The weather has been paricularly troublesome for many. My heart goes out to those who were affected in so many ways by the storms. I will light a candle for them.

The snow is coming down pretty heavily here right now, on top of all the slush and standing water. Streets and Sanitation will have a job keeping the streets passable. I am staying in!

Much love,
Edda

I will light a candle as well.  The storm hit here before moving on and becoming tornadic, and it was quite a storm.

Richard, are you having any problems from the ice?  Do you have adequate power and heat, etc.?

LOL!!  Could it be that your feelings are hurt by my "old age and treachery" comment?  Hmmmm . . . .

I pray for the victims of tornadoes.

unfortunately with the global climate warming, tornadoes seem to increase in number and in violence.
