I am asking for your prayers, thoughts and candles at what has become a very difficult time.

I have bene unable to work for some time due to an injury to my right hand. This is improving gradually but may never be quite right.

In the meantime I have had enormous difficulty obtaining social security benefits. My claim was initially refused and I had to go to appeal. Now a medical report has been lost and this probably means that I will be without income until after Christmas. I am already finding it very difficult to manage ..... The stress and hardship are meaning that my health is getting better and not worse.

I now have the opportunity to move house to somewhere much more suitable in many ways and in a more friendly and accepting community than where I live now. PLease pray that there will be a way that it is possible to move despite the financila problems I now face.

The move has fallen through or at least been delayed fro completely different reasons.

Oddly enough, I feel a sens of relief, although I have a lot of difficulties where I live now, and need to move very urgently.

I need to move very urgently and I have bid for a housing co-operative property in my home town. The allocation meeting is tomorrow (6pm GMT); if my bid is accepted, I could move before christmas, which would be very good.

I would ask for your thoughts / prayers/ candles about this.

I am returning to work in Feb or March but am looking for interim work in the meantime. My hand still needs to be treated with care, but is better than it was.

The authorities have refused me all benefits (US - welfare) for a second time as they do not accept my medical report, even though it is from a distinguished specialist. I am left with no income whatsoever, and am going to court to challenge this.

Thank you Hildegard and others for your kind thoughts and wishes. I am moving tomorrow :)

I am moving back to about a mile form where I grew up, which is both good and a little strange.

I am pleased to be joining the co-op, as it will give me community as well as housing.
