My son is headed for Ft. Riley Kansas w/his family January 6, 2007.  New post & more than likely headed for Iraq.  I pray he will not be sent back!  Pray for our troops & their families.  God Bless you all!

Status: offline 		Everyday we lose a few of our Soliders in Iraq.  Please pray for PEACE - for their safe return home.  My son will be going back very soon.  I fear for him.  This is not a part of the world where Americans should be.
Pray for our Soliders - where ever they might be serving.

Status: offline 		My son, Joel has not left yet; he leaves in July.  At present he is stationed @ Ft. Riley, Ka.  He's training his men for Iraq.  Some are right out of boot camp.  Scared to death!
I listen to the news - hear the rising number of dead - I'm scared too. 
Pray we leave Iraq.  Bring our children home safe to their families.
Please light a candle "JOEL" for all in the armed forces.

Status: offline 		Watching the news last pm - A story on wounded soldiers broke my heart.  How the families are struggling & caring for their loved one.
Also, a story on the 12 killed from the Black Hawn crash last week.   They left behind 34 children without a parent.  How sad...    How many children are missing their beloved parent from this mess?   It never should have happened!
I think of my Son & his friends - Lord please end this war.  Bring our children home.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Two car bombs in quick succession struck a market in a mainly Shiite district in Baghdad on Saturday, killing at least 13 people and wounding

Status: offline 		My heart is heavy - I learned this afternoon from my daughter-in-law, Shannon, Joel will be in Iraq in 90 days. 
I can think of nothing else..  One son at War, the other in prison.  I feel numb.

Status: offline 		HELLO TO ALL - I've been out of touch lately.  Trying to sort out my own thoughts.
Joel will be going back to Iraq, April 28 for at least 18 months, as of now.  There's a lot of unanswered questions  on his location & the length of time. 
Joel's 2 oldest children are taking all of this very hard.  Emma is 10, Ethan 6.  Please pray for his family.  Shannon (wife), Emma, Ethan & Ezra.   Pray for all our troops - Ask the Lord to bring them home.
