I have started a candle link for a member of one of my prayer groups. She had breast cancer several years ago but everything seemed ok. Recently, she was being treated for pneumonia (the drs assumed she had gotten the flu that has been going around.) With no improvement, they did more checking and found she had severe lung cancer. She is in much pain and her nights are very difficult. For all those who are awake while we in the States are sleeping, please include her in your morning prayers, positive energy, etc., which I am sure will help Kathy through the difficult nights. Kathy

Thank you, Sharon, Glenys, Shirley, Lori,Jude,and Edda for your prayers and candles. The news is not good. They have found two additional areas of cancer besides Kathy's lung. She is in a lot of pain and her husband, as can be expected, is having real difficulty coping with it all. Please continue your prayers for both. Her husband's name is Ed. Kathy

Edda, Glenys, Juliana and Barbara, Thank you all for your continued candles and prayer support for Kathy and Ed. The only additional information I have is that Kathy continues to be in much pain. This is a difficult time for both of them and for their family. Your prayer support and candles are much appreciated as they struggle with this new bout of cancer.

Thank you all for all your candles and prayers. An update--Kathy is home and still in much pain. She has begun a long process of chemo and radiation treatments. Thank you for your continued prayers.

Just received word that Kathy's cancer has spread throughout her body. She has decided not to go ahead with any more chemo and is still in a lot of pain. Hospice is scheduled to begin visits on Friday. Please continue to pray for her, Ed and their family.
