Lord bless these beautiful children. Give them confidence  in themselves during this difficult time of being the "NEW KID" at school.
In Jesus I pray - Amen.

My grandchildren have come home from Japan - now to live at Ft. Riley,  Kansas.
Emma is 10 & will be the tallest child in her class.  She is 5'7".  (Her daddy, My son is 6'7").  Being the tallest is very hard for her.  Kids are curel & make fun of her.  She looks older & adults expect to much from her.  Please pray for this beautiful little girl.  She frowns a lot.  I pray she'll find the beauty in herself & will smile always.  To have good loving friends who will be as tall & the same age as her.
Ethan - 1st grader - he wears his feelings on his shoulders.  Very loving child - I pray his feelings will become strong & he never changes.  He finds the good in everyone.
Ezra - our little 3 year old, "Loves his Mommy."  Right now she can't get out of his sight.  The change in moving has been difficult for him.  All he's ever known - Japan.  I pray our little Ezra will know all of us & trust us with his heart.
Lord in Heaven take care of my babies.

Oh, Bless the little ones. I hope they do well. It can be an exciting time too, seeing all the 'new' things here. I hope they have an easy transition and make a lot of good friends.

Dear Debbie, a blessed and happy New Year to you and your family! I tried to respond before but my message seems to have been lost in cyberspace. Give Emma a year or so; the other girls will go into puberty and she won't stick out so much any more. It helps to practice some good but kind comebacks to those who tease her. If she doesn't get upset they will soon stop. She does need to be prepared to deal with boys who think she is older than she really is. Unfortunately these are things one has to consider. Given all the support she is sure to receive from her family she will be just fine.
Wishing you everything good,
Love,  Edda

Candle "EMMAK"
Our babies are settling in @ Ft. Riley.  Emma, Ethan & Ezra.  Emma in the 5th grade & Ethan in the 1st.  They love their school.  Making good friends.  Ezra who is 3 likes having a home again.  Traveling from Japan to the States & being on a 45 day leave - well lets just say Mr. Ezra is so happy to have his own room w/all his toys!
Lord take care of them all.

Lord in Heaven hear my prayer:
Bless these babies, Emma, Ethan & Ezra.  Their daddy will be leaving soon to Iraq.  Keep them close/safe, in the palm of your hand.  Bath your light on their daddy, Joel.
 In Jesus name, Amen.

God spare the little ones, bring their Daddy home. Let's bring all our soldiers home. Enough is enough. Prayers and blessings for your dear family.

Dear Debbie, I think often often Emma, Ethan and Ezra. The separaration from their father will be hard on them as well as on Shannon. I am praying for all of them that they be safe, strong and hopeful.
Love,  Edda

And, Debbie, as you know, they couldn't be in better hands. I will continue to pray for the family as I light candles in the 'Joel' group.

I wish there was something I could do to help you ease your pain, but only God can do it effectively.

Emil
