My fifteen yr. old grand daughter Louise is waiting for a surgical procedure to correct a coronary arrhythmia condition. I've started a candle goup 'lulu' for her.  Your prayers would be much appreciated.

Click here to go to the candle group, thanks, rj

Thank you all, Edda, Julie, Julianna, Jude, for your kind response and thoughtful prayers.  I will continue the candle group for Louise and let you know the outcome of her plight sometime later, rj

I am sorry that I didn't see this post 2 days ago. I hope all is well with LULU and that she is either in her room eating ice cream and watching television or home.

My thoughts and prayers are with her and all of your family.
Theresa

Thinking of Louise and wanted you to know that there is so much love and support for her, I hope she and you can feel it.

I know how the days leading up to surgery can be.  I pray you all are hanging in there.

Thank you all for your candles and prayers for Louise.

Louise is doing as well as can be expected, frustrated because she can't get a job until after her operation which is scheduled for July 8th. She is proficient in a number of martial arts and ballet. For a number of years she was suspected to have asthma. But, as her symptoms turned to fainting she got a monitor which has pinned down the SVT diagnosis. Her mother had a similar problem corrected in her thirties.  Let's hope this is all that is hindering her from living her normally active lifestyle.

Please keep the candles alive at lulu

Thank you for the update, Richard.

I will certainly keep Louise in my prayer and continue lighting candles for her. Maybe you can tell her that there is a mother in "cyber space", whose son has gone through serious health issues, too. They have been resolved, and the young man has grown all the stronger and wiser for them! As for a job, that´s an issue of its own today, the working world being what it is. What really counts is doing what you really want to do and finding meaning in it.

My very best wishes for your granddaughter and for her grandfather, too!

Juliana

Richard, I, too, thank you for the update. I wish Louise all the best! July 8 may seem like light years away, especially when you are young! And even when you are not, waiting can be difficult as Leon and I have learned in the past year.

I keep Louise in my prayers and will continue lighting candles for a successful surgery,

With every good wish to you and her,
Edda

I just read the original posting and couldn't wait to read the update. I wish Louise all the best. Tell her that she has many many years to work and to enjoy this time healing and relaxing. I am so glad that everything turned out so well for her. The ballet and martial arts probably helped make her strong.

Best wishes for a wonderful future for your granddaughter, Louise. God bless.

I just received word from my daughter that louise's surgery went well. However, the actual location of the problem was not all that locatable, they "fixed" what they thought to be the problem.  Only time will tell whether she wil need more "fixing".  We just have to wait the next six weeks out.  Not too conclusive but, at least a step.

Richard, thank you for the update. Prayers and candles continue at the candle group you began for her lulu and will continue for the next six weeks. May the "fixing" be completed and Louise returned to full health.
