I said in my last post that I had just thought of something else to be grateful for and would post later. So here goes.
I read one of Richard Dawkins books a while ago, and he said that out of millions of sperm just one sperm meets one egg and produces a unique human being. That if one of the other sperm had met the same (or a different) egg then You/I would never have existed. Another human being would have been born but not us, and that other human being would have looked different and have led a different life. So it is a real miracle, and a miracle that I feel grateful for, that I am alive, and even at death, I will have had a chance that millions of other potential human beings never had.
This lets me see my life from a different perspective, and how special and unique each human being is.
