I am grateful for everyone that shares their hopes, dreams, thoughts, sadness and prayers for all of us every where.

I have been unhappy lately.  I was recently passed over for a promotion that I felt after much sadness was my time.  Unfortunately, it was not.  I am having a hard time getting over it.  But, when I came to light a candle for guidance...I stayed to read the forums.  There is so much sadness in the world.  And while I still need guidance, I know that even at work where things are really tough right now I have good, true friends that I am really grateful for!  They share my pain and provide comfort and prayer.

I also am grateful for the brightest light in my life...my grandson.  I love him more than words can say!

So, while I am sad....this too shall pass and I will will receive the guidance I so pray for to succeed, to make my life's work something that I can be proud of.

Thank you so much for helping me to be grateful every day of my life for the wonderful people in this world.

I find it hard to pray, because my heart is so big & full.........I can't stop, I want everyone to be happy, healthy & secure.  So, my prayers for each and every one of you!

I am so sorry you were passed over for the promotion. That is a very painful experience. Thank you for being so honest about the pain you are feeling right now and your struggles to pray. Feelings of personal rejection are so difficult for all of us to handle.

It sounds like your life's work already is truly "something you can be proud of." In reading your post, I sensed a real empathy for all those who are struggling and in pain. Even in the midst of a difficult painful, situation in your own personal life there is still so love in you that you share others pain and pray for them. "For He who is mighty has done great things in you and holy is our God's name."

My prayers go with you.

Gail, I went and lit a candle for you...I am so grateful for your sharing and offer up this time of struggle for you, may you continue to be blest with your family and friends. I know what it is like to be unable to pray and I am so grateful for those who prayed for me. My prayer is with you...

Gail,
You are beautiful! Life gave you lemons, you went a picked raspberries for raspberry tea! Trials and tribulations are life; you allow yourself disappointment, but refuse dismissal! I look forward to learning much wisdom from you!

Cheri,
When you can't pray, just light a candle. What is in your heart is already known anyway. J
