Status: offline 		I have received another update on Maija's condition. Fifty percent of her skin is affected like in a burn and is being treated as such. Because of this she remains in deep sedation on a respirator. However, her organ functions have improved and the physicians are "satisfied" and, it seems, suprised by her determination to live. Her course seems now better than they would anticipate. So there is cause for hope! Her parents believe all the prayers are helping and are hoping for a Christmas miracle.

Status: offline 		I received Christmas greetings from Maija's parents today. They and Maija's physicians are cautiously optimistic about her outlook. Her skin is improving. She is a real little fighter surprising everyone. Her physicians are going out of their way to help her.
Thanks to all of you who have followed her progress and prayed and lit candles for her, sending all this positive energy her way.

Thank you for remembering little Maija! Her parents and family are still lighting candles in her group leaving touching messages (Maija). They miss their one and only child terribly. All your prayers for them and Maija are appreciated.

Status: offline 		Today is the first anniversary of little Maija's death. Please, light some candles in her group Maija which has been going for more than a year. Her parents visit almost daily and leave touching messages addressed to her. In fall they were blessed with the birth of a little boy called Julius. Maija is his guardian angel.
