A young man went to Iraq in October of 2006. He joined the service simply to get health insurance for his wife as she has pre-existing conditions. He loves her so much that he thought by joining the service he would better be able to take care of her and their two very young children. On Memorial Day May 28, 2007 he and 8 other soldiers were riding in a tank when they were hit by a bomb. Sadly 6 young people died and he and two others are just haning on. He is only 22. He is severly burned, they had to amputate one of his arms, his spine is so injured that he most likely will never walk again (if he even survives), he is burned from head to toe. He is the brother of my son's girlfriend Samantha. He is now on his way to Texas. He is on a ventilator due to sever smoke inhalation I began a new candle group for him. It is jeral. If you have chance can you please light a candle for him and his family. And maybe an extra candle for all of our soldiers so far from home? Judy
