Galatians 6:9  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Seems with so little new to go on, that people are becoming weary, exhausted, and a little down hearted.

I pray that the Lord will strengthen those who  are becoming weary.

Dear Connie, you have been so faithful in following Theresa's case and in lending your support to all those working on it. I can understand the weariness that may come to them. I have been lighting candles for Theresa and all those trying to find answers. We need to pray not to become discouraged!
Wishing you everything good,
Edda

It's been over 4 months since Theresa went missing.  I can't even imagine the pain her family is going through.  I know that God will bring this to a resolution when the time is right.  Let's please continue to pray that the time is sooner than later.  Thanks for everyone who has been lighting candles for Theresa.

Things have really gone quiet with the investigation lately, maybe this is the calm before the storm so to speak. So many people are still praying and turning every stone to uncover the mysteries that surround Theresa's disapearance. I pray that the Lord will renew the strength  of all involved with each passsing day until there is a resolution and much needed closure. As one friend says " We won't give up until she's found, and even then we won't forget". I agree!

Thought I would share this. Theresa's family has planned to have a balloon release on September 9th at 5 pm. This is Theresa's 42nd birthday. Her family said that it would be for Theresa and anyone who had lost a loved one.
So many people wanted to participate, that it has now grown to a major effort to remember Theresa. Lot's of people will be releasing 42 balloons with flyer and info on Theresa's disappearance attached. Some will release 6 for the # of months she has been missing. And others may release any other #.. from 1 up. Many are releasing purple balloons in support of victims of domestic violence.
There will be many releases on this date and time from several locations. Local Church groups, and people from several other cities and states have joined in. I think this is a wonderful show of support, and with so little that people can actually do, I am excited to see this happen.
Wish I could be sharing news of Theresa being found, but I do believe with all the prayers and people working daily that it will be a reality soon.
Until then many, many people continue to pray and believe, doing anything possible to bring Theresa home , and keep her name in the public eye.
Lighting a candle!

Today would be Theresa Parker's birthday - she should be celebrating with her family turning 42!  Instead, her family is still searching for her.  Please light a candle to wish her a happy birthday and to help light her way home so that her family can have the answers they need.

Coming up on 7 months since Theresa was last seen. That is way too long for any mother to have to wonder where their child is. Please join me in prayer that the Lord will bring to light the truth surrounding Theresa's disappearance, and that those responsible will be held accountable soon. Coming into a holiday season, It breaks my heart knowing the heartache that her loved ones live with daily.

In watching the investigation of missing Stacy Peterson, I am troubled to know that officers of the law , who took an oath to serve and protect, and to uphold and enforce the laws, are acting as if they are above those very laws. I pray for the truth to be revealed in her case as well as Theresa's.
Theresa has been missing for far to long, with no answers. Please join me in praying for those who handle the investigation, to gain wisdom, and to continue to seek answers. Theresa is still missing, their job is not yet done.

Thank you MTeresa for your thoughtfulness and prayers for Theresa's family. I know they greatly appreciate all prayers.

Wow, here we are approaching Thanksgiving,  and it has been 8 months now that Theresa has been missing. I will be praying for her family, that they may be filled with peace. The holidays can be such a hard time, for families that are living daily with the uncertainty that they are. I continue to pray for guidance and wisdom for all those who are working to find the truth, that answers may come soon.

God Bless the family of Theresa Parker.

Today marks 9 months since Theresa was last seen. What pain and grief , her family and loved ones have had to endure for the better part of this year. As we all go about our holidays with friends and family, sharing the comforts of knowing where they each are, even if they are absent by distance or have gone on before us, let us remember the family of Theresa Parker and the many others like them this year. I pray that the Lord will grant them the miracle of answering the questions that they live with daily.

Please join me in lighting a candle to remember Theresa and show support for all who love her.

Thanks Edda,

One of the faithful bloggers at the Theresa Parker blog wrote and shared this with us earlier this year. I find that it speaks volumes. I also found it very fitting in this holiday season.

Nothing so inspires as one whose life pulls the world forward,
and beckons us to be all we were created to be.
One who, with just a smile, can yield a day worth living,
with just a touch, can heal a wounded soul.

In our midst there is such a one
who silently summons us forward,
still inspiring and touching, though from a distance, now.

And in those quiet moments, when the night is still,
if you listen with your heart... she's there.

The essence of her being defies the horrors she knew;
betraying defeat and denying its grip.
For how can the purity of life and love ever be silenced?

It is for that reason we are connected, one to another,
and..... to her.
And that same reason brings us here....
to commune with one another
and to celebrate this essence we call Theresa.....
that now is in us all.

And so... we falter not in out quest to justify her!

Just wanted to ask everyone to continue to pray for Theresa and her family.  Just so you know, there has been some progress in the case.  Her husband and former police officer, Sam Parker, has been arrested for her murder although her body has still not been recovered.  Everyone please keep the family in your prayers and pray for justice.
