Dear Edda, Thank you so much. I've changed my thought process, I think more often now of the good memories and happy times and concentrate on those. It has helped me so much. I still love him with all my heart and I know now he truly knows it too. And I will always miss him with every fiber of my being. Thanks for your love and kindness. Love Lynn xoxox

Balls of strings for kittens,
Strings to hold kids' mittens.

String for a kite, flying so high,
Up into the gorgeous blue sky.

String tied to our finger so don't forget,
Reminding of a date that's been set.
.
The most touching string for me,
Is the heart string that you cannot see.

One may be plucked when you're sad,
Another can be struck if you're mad.

One can be broken when a loved one dies,
Our heart strings don't tell lies.

Some may wear thin, if you have a lot of stress,
Clean up your life, clear up the mess.

Protect your heart strings, so they never perish,
Love your family, friends and all those you cherish.

An ache, a pain, soreness deep inside,
I wish some days from myself I could hide.

Running from fear is what I did best,
Nothing got better, this I can attest.

Just moved the problems, from one place to another,
Taking them with me, still continuing to smother.

I've learned to stand up for myself,
Face things head on, don't hide them on a shelf.

I feel better, I know I am strong.
I'm in a place now where I belong.

Hi Lynn,

I'm new and trying to catch up on everyone's news.

I have not lost a child, but my sister's 20 yr. old  son died as the result of a car accident 11 years ago.  It was one of the hardest things we  have ever gone through.

I will pray for you.

Love your poetry.

Love,
Blue Eyes

Dear Lynn, thank you for letting us know! I certainly will light a candle for Jen. I hope she makes a good recovery. I had been wondering why I had not heard from her.

Wishing you everything good,

You're very welcome Edda.

I have a new prayer request. Because of my medical bills we are getting dangerously close to having to file for bankruptcy. Please help me pray for financial resolution. We are doing everything we can to cut down on everything possible. No snax, no dinners out etc. No extras anywhere. I may not be able to do my physical therapy for my knee because the health insurance won't cover all of it. This puts off the knee repair that I desparately need. Thank you all. Love you. Blessings to everyone. Lynn

Dear Lynn, you and all your needs are in my prayers!
Just a thought, would it be possible to learn how to do much of the physical therapy at home? Therapists are often very inventive in finding ways to do things. It may not be the same, but it would help!

With every good wish,
Edda

Thank you Edda for the suggestion. I have to do work with him in the office and at home, as much as possible, then ice my knee to reduce the swelling. It will take the whole six weeks before i see any results. Still trying to work out the ins. mess with them. They are very nice there, so I'm hopeful. Thank you for your prayers. Love ya, Lynn

Hi Lynn,

I lit a candle for your friend and hope she receives healing soon.  And I'm praying for healing for both your knee and your financial situation.  It's such a travesty in a country that's so rich that so many people have to go without medical care.

Just catching up with the posts here and finding so many of the stories an amazing testament of faith and love.  One thing's certain:  a mother's love is forever.  God bless you as you miss your son.

Love,
Lolly

Lynn,

May all your needs be me. God's grace be with you. And may your love shine brightly and be seen and felt by your shining star up in heaven.

God bless.
