A New York city firefighter died last night in the line of duty. Eveyone please pray for all the firefighters coping with the huge loss this week.

DEar Donna, I am touched by your special concern for firefighters. Too often, their service is taken for granted as they risk their lives to protect us. I will pray for this firefighter as well.

I've lit a candle uner NYCFD. Much love to the firefighters and paramedics, as my mom's life was saved by one.

Thanks for your thoughts. I come from a family of firefighters, Connecticut and NYC and currently dating one. Hits very close to home every time we lose another one. thanks again...
