Dear Vicky

Carrie, Scott and their baby are in my prayers. I'm lighting candles for them as well. I hope the scan on Thursday will show good results. The waiting is so difficult!

With much love and many hugs,
Edda

Update - results of tests today. The problem is the same, but there is no change. Per the doctor, that is good news. It still may be a problem, but as long as it stays the same there is an 80-100% chance that the baby will be alright. She has to have another follow up ultrasound in 3 weeks because the doctor said there is still concerns and wants to keep it monitored.

Baby's due date is end of March.

Thanks so much for your prayers & candles. Keep them coming.

Dear Vicky, thank you for the update! This news is at least very hopeful and in that sense good. I hope and pray that it remains that way.

I will light a candle in gratitude for today's news.

Wishing you, Carrie and Scott everything good,
Much love,
Edda

Please say a little prayer for the baby's next ultrasound on Monday. Pray that the tests show that the problem they've been watching has improved or better yet - healed itself & gone away. That the baby is healthy and alright.

Light a candle for Mom & baby.  group: c & s

Thanks so much for all of your prayers. We know that God answers prayers.

Love, Vicky

I'll light another candle.  Please let us know how it goes on Monday.  I've been offline a lot lately, but I think of them often.

Edda, Jude, Lori and Juliana, Thank you so much for your prayers and candles. Carrie's first shower is tomorrow and she is so excited. I pray that Monday's ultrasound report will show improvement or better yet resolved itself altogether.

Dear Vicky, I admit that at first I was puzzled as to what kind of "shower" your daughter might need - but then I remembered what my American friends had told me about the custom of "baby showers" ! (Needless to say, we do not have this over here). Of course I am going to light a candle right now, praying that everything will go well with the baby.

Juliana, you made me smile! First handyman, then shower! What other words are there around that have a different meaning from the one that comes first to mind?! My husband can't stand the word "kid" being used for a child since it makes him think of a goat!

Vicky, I'll be especially mindful of Carrie, Scott and their baby on Monday.

Love,  Edda

Thanks for all of the prayers and candles. The results from the ultrasound was about the same as the previous one. No improvement yet.

Keep the prayers and candles coming. God answers prayers and miracles do happen.

Carrie had a great time at her baby shower yesterday. She received lots of precious gifts for the baby.

I also got a chuckle about the "shower" I forgot that we have different customs in the states. Thanks for making us laugh & smile.

Dear Vicky, I am sorry the ultrasound did not show any improvement but at least there was no progression of the problem.

Praying and hoping with you, Carrie, and Scott,

Much love,
Edda

Dear Vicky, Having just re-read your previous posts, I am reminded that the baby has a chance of 80-100 % to be alright, if there is no progression. So the latest news is good news. I am keeping you all in my prayers, and candles will be lit.

Love, Juliana

Julianna - Thanks for reminding us about odds. The odds are very much in favor that the baby will be alright. I appreciate the reminder, now we can again focus on the positives. Prayers for the positives and for hope.

Thanks to everyone for prayers and hope for the precious little one, Mommy and Daddy.

Love to all,  Vicky
