The news today was not as good as expected. Mommy has an appointment to see another doctor on Thursday to discuss a C-section and delivery at one of the Specialty Hospitals in Chicago. We live in the suburbs of Chicago, so the hospital is a ways for us to go - but we will go where the best care can be provided.
It was a very hard day for Mommy  & Daddy. Please say an extra prayer for them.

Thanks for all of the prayers & candles for this precious baby.

Dear Vicky, I am sorry that the news was not what was expected/hoped for. It must have been a very hard day for them both and for you. Please know that all of you will be held in prayer and candles kept lit for all of you. Amazing things are being accomplished every day with new borns and problem pregnancies. I am sure the speciality hospital is to make sure that all receive the very best of care.

Dear Vicky, I am so very sorry that the news was not better. Your hearts must be heavy.  There are excellent hospitals here in the city with the best and most up-to-date care available. There may be a Ronald Mc Donald House nearby where family members can stay.

I will certainly keep Carrie, Scott and their baby in my prayers and light candles for them.

Much love and warm hugs,
Edda

Edda, Betty and Lori - Thank your all for your candles and prayers. My heart is breaking for my little girl who is just wants a healthy baby. Mom's want to fix everything and I just can't use my magic wand. I can pray, light candles and ask others to do the same. I did tell her that there are many people praying and lighting candles for her little precious one. God does answer prayers. She is very angry at God right now, her husband is very religious and he has great faith that everything will be alright.
Thank you for keeping them in your prayers.

Edda - The hospital they are referring her to is Lutheran General in Park Ridge.

Love, Vicky

Dear Vicky,
Let us keep the candles of HOPE burning! I have seen so many cases where the prognosis was not so good - and then a healthy baby arrived. When I meet the young people today who caused their parents great worry at the time, I am always moved to give praise... I will start knitting a pair of booties right now.

Much love,
Juliana

    Happy Valentine's day to everyone!
Carrie's consult appointment was changed to Monday morning. Her OB doctor agrees with the specialists that she have a C-section and deliver at the hospital in Park Ridge. They have all of the things in place there that the baby will need.
Please keep lighting candles (group C & S) and keep them in your prayers. Miracles do happen.

Love & Prayers, Vicky

Today's consult appointment seemed to raise more questions than answers. They ordered a MRI and the team will review the findings. She has another appointment next Monday 2/25. So the wait continues. I feel this is a good sign so that we can continue the prayers and candles. I have hope. I do believe in miracles. I pray for healing miracle for the baby. Amen

My prayers and candles continue. Just a question, Vicky: Should I knit pink or blue booties? Or maybe light green or yellow?

Trusting, hoping,
love,
Juliana

You are a sweetie. They do not want to know the sex of the baby. They want it to be a surprise. So green or yellow would be the color for booties now.
Thank you so much for the prayers and candles. They are greatly appreciated.
Love, Vicky

Hi Juliana - I emailed you the information.

To all:
There is nothing new to update. She is going to the specialty doctors weekly now and they will decide in the next week or so what the date will be for the C-section. Keep saying prayer & lighting candles. The precious little one needs lots of prayers and a miracle healing. Keep Mommy & Daddy in your prayers too.

Love
Vicky

Dear Vicky, I will be with you, Carrie and Scott in my thoughts and prayers. Waiting is difficult, patience not easy, and hope challenging, but the time will go by quickly and a date will be set.

Much love,
Edda
