Zoe Chambers 18 months old and need a new heart.

Status: offline 		Zoe is 18 months old and was born with a heart condition which means the valves in her heart can't push the blood round her body as they should. She desperately needs a heart transplant within the next few days or she will die.

She is currently being kept alive by an artificial pump but that will only last for a week or so more, her condition leaves her prone to infection and this complicates matters too.

Organ donation is a difficult thing to ask people to pray for, for one person to live it means another will die. But I believe that God knows what he's doing and if it's meant to be it will.

So I pray for Zoe and her parents and for all parents who have to face the sad and untimely death of their own children and I ask others to do so too.

I personally know the blessings that organ donation can bring and I pray that any parent or loved one can find can find strength to give the ultimate gift of life in their darkest hour.

Status: offline 		Thank you all for your prayers and support. The good news is that Zoe got a new heart in the early hours of this morning, she is doing well and is comfortable.

My prayers are now for her family and also the family who lost a loved one yesterday, but were brave and selfless enough to help this little girl.

Status: offline 		What a nice, nice, so very nice thing to hear: Zoe got a new heart!!! I also feel for the small child who donated the heart and all the loved ones involved, and I pray for all.

Status: offline 		Adding my prayers that little Zoe makes a full recovery after her transplant.
I also remember in prayer the family of the donor whose heart Zoe received. Support and comfort them in their grief Lord. May the knowledge that their loved one has given the opportunity of life to another help them in some way to deal witht their tragic loss. Amen
