Dear Blue, You have been very gracious with your co-workers by apologizing, when you really did not have to. I can imagine that some felt a bit ashamed. You may notice something slightly different the next time someone needs help. Example works so much better than a lot of words. St. Francis of Assisi said, "Preach always. If necessary, use words." I think this is a good principle.

Hello Edda,
How right you are!! Am well acquainted with St. Francis of Assisi. Slow but sure I will learn!!!!

But in reality, it was you Edda that got me thinking ie the Christmas present. I too have done similar but didn't think of it till you had brought it to my attention. THANK-YOU.

I am in high hopes to see a little change with the grace of God's help. I have noticed not those concerned in this matter, but another co-worker...has noticed but keeps asking me 'HOW DO YOU DO THAT?' The only answer I can come up with is "PUT YOURSELF IN THERE SHOES", Do unto others...... But I need to work on that, in the mean time....just trying to set the example!!

And thank-you, my weekend was nice and filled with much sunshine. I am in high hopes you also had a good weekend with many blessings.

Dear Blue, your answer is exactly right, putting yourself in the place of the other, seeing things from their viewpoint - that's what empathy, compassion is all about.
I am glad you had a nice weekend. We had a really hot one that kept me inside most of the time. Thank God for airconditioning!
