Still grateful for being here again today;another chance at life and hope to eventually get it right this time around. I'm still working on what to write to three other sisters that are still actively drinking on a daily basis,I would love communicating with them but I learned there is no hope for the end result of an alcoholic(s)I don't feel that their comprehension is in full tact, but in some sense I feel it may help me to heal some(?)there has alway been a family fued/block I always felt that I was the slowest out of nine+ but I chose to end my abuse and grow and mature to my fullest potential.God willing.

China, you are very brave. Stay in your heart and you will know what to say to your sisters.
There is always hope.

Dear Judy,

We are so grateful for your being here again today. Please, dear, don't be so hard on yourself about getting it right this time around. We all make mistakes and it takes a tremendous amount of maturity and courage to admit them and to admit that we need help. Perhaps the best thing you can write to your sisters is your strong desire to communicate with them, to let them know how much you love them and all the specialness and giftedness you see in each one of them. Family feuds are so very difficult and painful to live with especially when they involve immediately family. I pray that God sustain you through it. At times there just seems to be no hope for resolution but nothing is impossible.

Judy, you are definitely not the "slowest" out of nine in what really matters the most - your caring concern for others. I pray that each day, God show you the very special person that you are and the very special dream that our God dreams for you. For our God who is mighty
has done great things in you and Holy is our God's name. May your special music site bring you the peace and healing that the Holy One desires so much to give you and your Sisters. I keep a candle burning in my kitchen constantly. Know that you and your sisters will be added to it's prayer.

Pandora is a great music sampling site that I think you will enjoy, Judy. It allows you to choose music styles as well as artists that share common tonal qualities, and then builds a playlist based on your selections. I've discovered tons of great music, here.

I feel your pain, too, luv. Family conflicts can usurp every bit of vital energy that you have to offer; that's part of what makes them so difficult. You can be having the greatest day in the world; and then family history sneaks it's angry little head in your life and POOF!... Your entire day goes right into the crapper! Call it 'universal law' or whatever, but it's true. Family hits the heart, both the good and the bad.

There's a quote that reminds me to do things differently whenever I approach a problem that I've faced before:
"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, and expecting different results."
Sometimes, I'm the one that needs to do things differently.

Judy, that's what you are doing, right here, right now! You know that your issues with your siblings aren't going to just go away. You've tried the arguments and fights and silence and indifference. None of them worked for you. So, now you're seeking out new alternatives and trying to see different points of view.

You want to write to your sisters. Have you done this before? If you have, what will you say differently in these new letters? If you've never written to your sisters and you feel you should now, then do it - today! You might be writing to your sisters, but you could be writing for yourself, as well. And that is an encouraging thought.

Know that you're coming from 'that good place.' Believe that you're coming from 'that good place.' And then, bring 'that good place' with you everywhere, every minute of every day!

I always felt that I was the slowest out of nine+

There's a lot to be said for being the 'slowest.' I always loved walking behind my older brother and sisters. I figured that it was OK if they stepped in pooh first; at least I'd get a warning!

Don't concern yourself about being the slowest. I am too .. and you know what... it doesn't matter one bit. Who cares? No one!! And you shouldn't care either!!

Don't dwell on the small stuff!

You are a wonderful person fast or slow. You are still you... and you are strong & powerful!!

Arow - you are too funny... I loved the "poop" part!!  So true!!
