Thank you all for all of your cat stories that brought smiles to the heart. They reminded one of our dogs who would never take the needed medicine. After many different attempts, it was discovered that if some beer was put in the water bowl and the pill was dropped into it, the beer and pill was immediately slurped up. After retrospective discussions, it seemed only logical that beer was the best way to give medicine to a GERMAN shepherd. Barbara, congratulations on being self-taught in the area of completing grant applications. May it fly on Spirit Winds and bring the results that are best for both you and your work. Prayers go out for your "retreat", wherever and whenever it occurrs. Lynn, it is good to see your post. Hopefully your vacation has allowed you to "swim in the most luscious chocolate" ever imagined. May sumptuous experiences fill your "vacation palate" with an abundance of incredibly delicious memories. Dear Marie, it is so good to "see" you again and hear that you are being kind to yourself. In the words of Mya Angelou, "I did what I knew how to do, when I knew better I did better." You have been such a gift to all here, that there is no doubt that prayers continue for you whether we "see" you on line or not. Jude, it was good to read of your day of peace and quiet and time to just "be".Sometimes completely responsibility-free days to just be a human being rather than a human doing come all to rarely. I join you in being very grateful for those who provide good service when we need it most. Juliana, one can almost see you beaming in your post about the little one, the mountains, woods etc. May you have many more days filled with such joy. Edda, it is good to read that Leon's dr visit was so positive. I pray that your yearning for blue sky, mountains and woods become more than a dream or a memory from your heart happiness closet. Until it can become a reality, may your heart memories of such times fill you with much peace and joy. Blessings on your prayer group tomorrow. Today I am grateful for lack of sleep last night giving me time to go back and reread so many posts from so many individuals, some whom we no longer “see” in the forum. Pure gift to reread such an abundance of life’s wisdom and so filled with loving concern for each other. To all of you, both those who have posted in the past and those who continue to post, May your weekend be filled with the gentle moments of allowing the "Spirit Wind" to carry each of us to the experiences of the Holy One that we each need most at this moment.
