Tonight I am grateful for peaceful knowledge that the Spirit of Wisdom so freely filled in the words of consolation, comfort, and honesty; for the gift of words that could bring some laughter in the midst of horrible pain for Paul's family, for the blessing of just being with him, gently holding his hand in comfort; for those moments when unresponsive to those of us physically present, he was obviously attempting to "talk" to someone he "saw", even with his eyes closed and a small grin would break across his pain etched face. I am especially grateful for the gift of faith that provides the knowledge that he will be in a much better place. I am grateful for all the prayers, candles and loving support of this family who has taken Paul and his family under your wings of prayer. Several times earlier in this ordeal, he asked that I tell you all thank youfor your prayers and support. May the Holy One raise him up on eagles wings and support and sustain and comfort Paul's family in their grief. To all of you, I apologize for "dropping out" lately. Things have been a bit hectic. Thank you all for your prayers and candles for Paul and for not "dropping out" on them or me. Please continue your prayers for Paul and his family as his earthly life comes to an end. Judy, welcome to the forum and Namaste to you. We hope that you will visit us often and help each of us remember all we have to be grateful for. Solomon, I do apologize for taking so long to welcome you back. You have truly been missed. In spite of how I feel about bugs, your bee picture is beautiful. You have been sorely missed with your gentle reminders of gratitude for all the "little things". Each time I think of you, you remind me of gratitude for a warm cup of tea, a warm bath, etc., and so I am grateful for your return. Marie,You and Melody have been thought of often this past week as she begins school. May it truly be a blessed experience for both of you. Jude, it is so good to read how very special your family visit is. May it be blessed with abundant gifts of love for all of you. Richard, prayers continue for Louise, may she experience complete healing and wholeness. Edda, It is wonderful to read that once again you and Leon were able to go to the farmers market. These little outings sound like they are such a gift for you. I pray that they occur much more often and that you both are blessed with many such uplifting moments. Barbara, the wings of prayer join you that a dentist might be quickly found. Blessings on you for sharing the white cotton cloud mountains setting sail in the endless blue sea of the sky. May your utilities and dentist problems quickly find their way to financial solutions. Juliana,How very special of your neighbors renting rooms to handicapped tourists. Your neighbor's 21 GREAT grandchildren sound like she is very proud of them. What a sad memory from her father. It sounds like her heavenly Father has blessed her abundantly. Lori, prayers continue for your retreat. For those I have not mentioned specifically by name, know that all of you who have in the past, and all who currently post are remembered each day at Mass. In the true meaning of "Namaste" I bow to the Holy One who so obviously lives in all of you. May you all be blessed a hundredfold as you have blessed others.
