In this early morning time (it's a little after 3 a.m. here) I am grateful for some quiet time to catch up with all of you and time for the prayer of just "being". You all have been missed. Jude, although there wasn't time to post, you and your family were held in prayer. I am so sorry to have read about your brother-in-law. Two deaths in such a short period of time can be difficult. Know that all of you were and are held in prayer. Over this past year, your posts consistently expand my appreciation of nature; first the buzzards, now the Ramsoms and wild violets which just seem to pop up all over on their own. You have shown me how much growth is still needed in my appreciation of the natural world. May it bless you abundantly with it's wild beauty. Barbara, congratulations on the success with your seminar. It is always such a gifted moment when the Holy One uses us to touch others' lives and share hope/reconciliation with them. There is that very blessed sense of knowing that it is not me, but the Holy One's action through me. Thank you for the prayers/candles for Jess and Larry and the St. Gerard prayers. They have long been a favorite, even in those times when they "seemed to not have been answered." Your copying them in your post saved me the time of finding them on line or calling the Redemptorists and asking for a copy. May the Spirit's work continue to flow through you. Lori, after reading your posts these many months, the flowers and "thank you" card seem so much deserved, kind of like the Holy One saying "thank you" for being so very dedicated, above and beyond, to all "My Beloved" who are struggling so much. May your vacation be a time of blessed rest and refreshment for you.Lynn, I, too, have been finding it difficult lately to keep up with all posts. Know that you and Taylor's family are held in much prayer with gratitude for a safe journey there and back. Marie, what can I say about the specialness of your post. It reminded me of Jude's post about the Ramsoms. The "flower of Marie" was almost crushed, covered over and in darkness. Yet in her total openness to going through the pain and openness to allowing the tender healing Love of the Holy One, she has become a new and stronger plant and flower that has withstood a very crushing blow of life and the accompanying darkness. May you continually remain open to the new life that is so obviously blossoming in you and that has much new giftedness to offer all you come in contact with. Glenys your post was a good reminder of all the times I too have been a stern parent to myself and insisted on "work work" before allowing "play work" and also ended up gratitude challenged. Thanks for the reminder. T.O.It is good to read the very positive "super duper" gratitude for the beginnings of healing in an important relationship. Prayers continue for total healing and that life may contain the beauty of the mountains standing tall with the fresh waters and many vibrant colors of new life. Juliana, congratulations on the seminar. May its fruits of peace continue in the lives of those attending. Edda, prayers continue for both of you that Leon's blisters heal completely. Do take care of you in all of this. Your visit with your young friends sounds like it was a good tonic for both of you. Although I may have forgotten to mention someone specifically, know that with an extreme scarcity of "free time", you all are constantly included in Therese of Liseiux type prayer. Blessings on the coming week. May we all be completely open to the giftedness of this week even when it doesn't seem like gift.
