Status: offline 		Today I am grateful for taking the first step necessary to get things accomplished towards a long awaited goal and a major life change for the better that has been procrastinated off and on for 7 years now. The unknown of doing something out of the normal routine can be a little unsettling, but God, Faith and prayer can ease some of the anxiety to move forward and not look back to the fear of the unknown and self doubt of being able to do it. Keeping positive in my thoughts without looking for the worse case scenario has worked but it was through constant reminders, leaving it up to our Lord, it is in His hands, I trust in Him.

In other words hooray!!! LOL. I am truly grateful.

Status: offline 		Tonight I am very grateful waiting for my clothes in the dryer. I know when they are finished, they will be packed and we will be leaving very early tomorrow morning (Friday) to go visit "my" lake. Since we will be putting in cabinets, countertop, flooring next weekend on our 40th wedding anniversary, (Lord, has it really been that long), we are taking this weekend off. I will think of all of you who live in the Chicago environs as we wonder your streets this weekend. Whether you live in Chicago or not, all of you will be a special part of the candlelight Taize service from 11:45p.m. to 12:30a.m. It will be good to take a break from dust, dirt, chaos and heavy physical work.
Barbara, I am so glad to read that you are feeling much better. Hopefully the medicine will bring you back to full health again.
Marie, Your posting voice just seemed to release a hugh sigh of relief and Joy over taking your first step toward your new life and major goal. BRAVO for you. It is always difficult to conquer fear of the unknown and self doubt. I pray that you be sustained by the Holy One with new little joys each day to keep you moving forward. May all of your gifts to all of us on the forum be returned to you a hundredfold.
Edda, Blessings on your Saturday prayer group. Hopefully Leon's blisters have greatly improved.
Jude, I think of you each morning when I go look at my flowers. There are now hot pink, red, and orchid azalias, iris, tulips, and the peonies and roses are just beginning to bud.
Thank you all for the prayers and candles for my nephew and his wife and the little one. Blessings on you Joe, T.O. (the sunrise picture is beautiful) Lori, Solomon.

I have missed reading all of your posts but candles have been lit and you all have been held in prayer. May all have a very blessed weekend full of suprising little gifts from the Holy One.

Status: offline 		Today I am more than grateful for the warmer weather, after an icy blast at the beginning of the week. Having put my summer duvet on, the weather immediately changed and I had to put blankets on top of it.

Betty my thoughts and spirit are with you as you enjoy the lake and the Taize service I have had the experience and it was a beautiful thread to God nothing like it as far as I'm concerned even the Drum Circle as spiritual as it was cannot overwhelm the spirit ad connection of the Taize service. Marie I have been a continuum of first steps in my life that always are prefaced by inner doubt, anxiet however once I realize the feeling are from within and turn them over to my H.P. the source always cares for me and as I look back Im always grateful for the experience. Jude, Juliana and T.O. I love frogs and Kernit always made it so understandable with his rendition of "Its Not Easy Being Green" Music can reach all! so Ive included this for you. I hope all of you ejoy a Blessed day or evening with the Holy One guiding you to joy Edda and Leon hope your healing is moving forward prayers for you both.

Status: offline 		Today I am grateful for a garden 'Angel' who came and cleared a small space in the 'jungle' for me to plant something. Tomorrow I am going to reward him with a roast dinner.

It was lovely to see the birds come and enjoy the newly turned earth.

just logged in and realized the photo of the frog on the lily pad did not come through
T.O Jude and Joeharmony I need furtehr tutoring in adding photos here....Jude the
little birds are very colorful Spring is beginning to be evident here my landlady had
landscapers replace our front foliage and bushes very nice looking now. How God planned
the seasons amazes me each year how from under the cold hardened ground buds
appear and it always seems so quickly like overnight the public forest preserves fill
out with all the green shades Im so blessed to see ths each year as I live so close to
them and the street most used runs right throught them so for a little while about 1 mile
we curve through the woods you can almost forget yur in the city limit. Got to run
going to hel a freind wiht her computer I just hope she does not need to paste any
photos

Thank you, Betty and Barbara, for your concern!

I am also grateful for a surprise gift from a friend for no special occasion, a bunch of beautiful yellow tulips! They bring spring into our living room which is slowly returning to a more "normal" condition.

Dear Barbara, fellow friend of Kermit´s,
I like the American idea of garage sales - some time ago this custom was not known here. Now some people have adopted it, after an American citizen went back to the US and showed people how it is done.

Tonight I am grateful for a really wonderful weekend, spent in an Alpine valley, which looks very much like one of your pictures, Thankful One. I met with a big group of people who are all trying to find solutions for today´s major issues and make their contributions to realizing them.

A robbery was underway at his rectory last night, when the police who had been watching this band of robbers, caught them in the act and arrested them. They were involved in previous robberies of rectories and churches. The police had been looking for an opportunity to apprehend them red-handed.

Status: offline 		Today I am very grateful that I was taught so well how to look after my computer, and to back-up data regularly.

I've been attacked by some kind of virus, despite having protection on my PC, which has deleted all my data!!!!!!!!! I have lost some, but have most backed up. It was such a shock to see my empty data folders.

Anyone out there who doesn't back-up?? Or doesn't have anti-virus protection? Get some today.

Yes, it is strange how computers have taken over. Ten years ago I would no more have wanted to learn to use one than fly to Mars, but now it feels like part of me.
